I was a bigger fan of your music before you created a band around you that drowns out your vocals and excellent guitar skills. Don't listen to the greedy globalist pigs that tell you that you can't tour without a band. Makes me label you as a sell out. Please stay solo!

He always played with a backing band, but so did Leonard Cohen....does that really make him a sell out? He's always been given quite a lot of money to produce albums, I don't think we can accuse him of suddenly being a sell out since he's been releasing music through Polydor and Universal for quite some time. Does that lessen the artistic merit of what he produces though? Also, what makes you think it was the record label's decision? Perhaps it was his... I get where you're coming from, I'm not trying to call you out on it, but just....don't judge him too harshly for doing his job, you know? I agree that his guitar is FAR too low in the mix, and the drums are also way too high . I'm not sure if the levels are this way just for the video or whether his guitar really was that low in the mix on the night; but either way yes it's a real shame. That's the sound engineers job, and someone wasn't doing their job very well. ;-)
