Keep talking Asafa!! price gouging in Jamaica is seriously getting out of hand....since covid, the prices on basic food items sky rocketed and never come back to normal.....these are the things the government needs to address...!!!

Its a good thing you have chickens, banana trees, ackee trees & avacado trees. With prices of goods flying high, we will have to also look to garden/yard food to at least help when needed. I am from a small pacific nation & i also grow bananas, breadfruit & others in my yard, it helps 🙏🏾 everything expensive at shops here too

$40,000 to Shop OMG that’s a lot of money to spend for such a small amount of item. It’s hard for the Jamaicans that live there. It’s OK for us from the United States that come to Jamaica cause we have the American dollars but not good for the Jamaican people government have to do something about it. Things are too expensive.

Boxing Day started in n Europe. After the holiday the leftover food, they would box it up and take it to the poor. That how Boxing Day existed. Now they hardly do it because people are suing, that they got sick. Crazy.
@racquelesquireКүн бұрын
I might be wrong, but I grew up hearing that Boxing Day was the day that slaves actually got to celebrate Christmas because they had to work on Christmas day to make sure the masters had their Christmas celebration. Then they used to get gifts and food in boxes from their masters the day after Christmas as a "Thank you for working on Christmas Day".
