Asagi Kalekoy Hydro-Solar Power Plant, Turkiye

In Bingöl Province, eastern Turkiye, IsDB co-financed the country’s very first hydro-solar hybrid power plant through a US$180 million financing. The Asagi Kalekoy Hydro-Solar power station is the world’s 2nd largest hybrid powerplant. It delivers 590 megawatts of combined renewable energy to the national grid.
