I hope you don't mind the clips I wore my blanket like a hijab. I simply thought her hijab was cute and wanted to try on myself, enjoy the song with it. Just found out there are Islamic women who are forced to wear hijab. They really should stop making it mandatory and I hope every women can enjoy their fashion regardless of religion. If you guys think this is inappropriate, It would be absolutely no problem for me to delete this video. Thanks for understanding and much love!

Asagi's Life It’s totally fine to wear a hijab like that. No Muslims should take it against you. I certainly don’t as a Muslim! It just shows appreciation for our customs. Although hijabs are not mandatory for women no matter what anybody else says...this is fact.

In Indonesia, hijab is only mandatory in Aceh province, they make up only 1 percent of Indonesian population. For the rest of Indonesia, it's not mandatory. She's living in Riau province, so it's not mandatory for her according to the law. It may sound weird that hijab is mandatory in some areas, but that guarantees women remain modest and protected until their marriage. Men are also required to lower their gaze and never touch a women, who is not his wife. Problems in modern society like sexual harassment, prostitution and non-marital pregnancies can be prevented. Indonesia is a culturally complex muslim society. This is a kawaii idol group from Indonesia, most of the members are muslim girls, including the center kzbin.info/www/bejne/iHnCY6OCoa2Bbrs

As a Muslim i don't mind though, you look cute btw, About hijab being mandatory, well actually it is indeed mandatory in islam, it is written in the al-quran (islamic holy book) I don't know why the guy above said it's not mandatory, maybe what he mean is that in his country it's not mandatory, in Indonesia wearing hijab is certainly not mandatory because Indonesia are not islamic country, this rule only used in islamic country usually, There are rules for everything in islam, even the process of how you take the number 1 or number 2 in the toilet there are rules for that too, It's hard for me to explain islam without confusing you, because my knowledge are still limited, all i can say is please don't believe everything the media told about islam, if you really want to know, please find muslim in your neighborhood/place and have a discussion with them, they will certainly answer whatever questions you have about islam, Sorry for the long comment, have a nice day :)

@@blackpepper2610 Indonesia has an extremely high Islamic population. Each country is different, so some may have it mandatory by law, others its only mandatory by social customs. Most 'islamic' countries don't write into law that woman must cover themselves, but even if it isn't the law, woman who walk out in public without covering would be ostracized and harassed, even potentially attacked. So, even though it may seem like its required in some places by social interactions, it isn't always legally required.

When you can speak several languages , you will automatically mix few languages in one sentence when you speak. You will become very fluent. Like my sister and my close friend , my sister and I are Malaysian Chinese and my close friend he's Siamese , we speak mandarin, english, and thai most of the time. We can speak Thai since we were born because our mother is siamese, and my friend he can speak Mandarin since he enter Siamese Chinese School, when we speak we would mix in those 3 language during the conversation, i think we start doing that because we couldn't figure out the words or the way to express or explain certain things in certain situation or certain time. We have been speaking that way for more than 5 years, it became a part of ourself , like it is very common for us, and it has become very convenient as well , like for example we dont want certain people to understand what we are talking about , we would switch our language, if we want to confuse them we mix our speaking with those 3 languages . And trust me is funny when you look at their faces , completely clueless 🤣

2:06 she's Indonesian, she studied. And she did translate it by herself, it may sound a bit off for u, because she's not a native Japanese speaker. I appreciate u for pointing out this point. Love u Asagi

I think it's Datenkou who translate it. She's only recently started studying Japanese. She was interviewed by Japan TV few months back and she said she didn't speak Japanese . And in another interview, she mentioned about having help to translate.

It sounded to me like they translated the song to match syllables. Sometimes you'll hear a song in a different language and it will sound terrible, not be cause of the singer but because the syllable count is way off the original. They did a good job on this I think.

Many have commented about the Japanese lyrics.. Well the original is by Doja Cat in English. It contains many profanity words. The Japanese version actually is more PG rated.. Hahaha

I think that second sentence you mentioned is a case of using a bit more of a liberal translation in order to fit the song better. "Kimi wa doushita?" would be something like "What's up with you?" in English, right? So it is indeed quite different from "Kimi rashiku nai"/"You aren't being yourself", which I also believe could be translated into English as "That's not like you". But I can't help but feel this is intentional. Japanese and English are very different languages after all, so there's plenty of cases of direct translations not working. In those cases, finding a more liberal translation that still conveys the message can be a challenge, especially in songs where you're trying to make things rhyme on top of everything else. Just my two cents. I could be wrong of course.

@@AsagisLifeNoBSJapan Oh, I agree. My point was that I think the translation is already fine the way it is, and I think the guy who did the translation knew that the line he chose isn't exactly the same, but that he still went with it on purpose, and I agree with him. It gets the message across, and flows better (rhymes), so I think it's fine. Trying to do nothing but direct translations when translating an English song into Japanese doesn't really work very well.

I think Rainych was going for the tempo matching the word phrase rather than the proper and correct sentence in Japanese. And of course, it wasn't her that translated it (I'm assuming).

There are many designs for hijab. Only a few Arab nations wear mostly black. North Africa, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Asians all wear colors. And it’s not mandatory to wear it there. Most of us choose and love to wear hijab.
