lol you're agreeing with me, that's my point. He had to be at his absolute best to win, but normally that wouldn't be in a 1st round for Ronnie. That's why the other judges voted for him 2-1, while lilou and hong 10, who he has to do REALLY well for, voted against him. I'm not saying for SURE they're biased, but it seems pretty clear. They will naturally be tougher voting on a rival, it's that simple. And every close battle involving their own country, you know how they voted... no exceptions.

Wing is way too aggressive to be beaten. Everymove connected well and articulated. His downrock is much more than boring CC's he really looks like he's dancing to the music and not just with the music. Every song looks like it's his favorite song. That's why he couldn't loose.

Agreed. Wing's pulls out some really original stuff. Mounnir's good (going to see him soon when he come to sydney!) but he repeated a lot of his rollbacks. Like, he used rollback pike in all of his sets.

I don't know how anyone can hate Wing's style. So what if a lot of his moves look rehearsed. No one gets on the floor and starts freestyling that type of intricate ground work and threading. Gotta practice it first, make sure it flows. His ill strings, blowups and uniqueness outshine all of that. And give him a break about a little flailing too. I'm 6'2" with bird legs so I know what it's like to try and control a lanky body. Most bboys are shorter so it makes him look awkward by comparison.

You must be a fake Korean then ;) Wing's style (Threading) is a very difficult one to perfom well and with the flow that Wing has. He brought more variety and originality :) Mounir lacked what Wing had, but he did do well for someone who is not very known.

Lilou and Hong 10 were both probably biased toward their own countrymen. And against Ronnie. As soon as I read that Ronnie lost in the Ronnie vs Kolobok battle, I thought to myself "lilou and hong 10 must've voted against him" and they did, in a close battle too (not saying anyone should've won, but just making a point). They were extra tough on him cause you know those two don't wanna see someone else win 2 of these when they both have won only 1. Rival bboys shouldn't be judging.

All I'm saying is that it seems like if it's a close match, they are gonna go for their own country or against their rival. Not "no matter what." If it's close. And that's happened every single close battle that i've seen yet, every year, go see for yourself.
