Gives me immense pleasure in dedicating this track to the legendary and one of the most versatile voices of Tamil Cinema - Late Shri.Malaysia Vasudevan. Its more special now because it was his 75th birthday on June 15th 2020.
There isn’t a single concert that goes by without me and my band (Aalaap Raju & Band - ArB) performing ‘Asai Nooruvagai’. The energy in this track is second to none even today! Bows to 'Isaignani' Ilayaraja to have composed such a timeless beauty.
I’d like to thank my friends: Josh - Guitar, Siddarth - Drums & Marshall - Keys, who have done a fabulous job in recording audio and video from their respective homes in these challenging times! And to Prashanth Noel for the engaging video edit. Special thanks to Lijesh Kumar for his work behind the lens and mix!

OMG How did i miss this. Amazing stuff. I am always a big fan of Aalaap and Josh. This is out of the world. The drummer killed it!!! I love it when they list their gear. That Erisa guitar sounds pretty good. Need to get one made when I am in India next time...

Great attempt guys!! The start of the charanam at 3:00 begins after a pause, which I felt could have been avoided. The “enna sugam thevai” line could have started immediately after the TV switching off animation in accordance with the current tempo. Nevertheless, fantastic performance! Keep it up 👍
