Vuto in chewa means strife in English and it's not spelt with a d in front. Vuto means Nhamo in Shona. Udubo in Ndebele. Otherwise all your translations from Chewa to English are spot on.

This type of music was mainline 15 years ago and beyond. Most music from this era had such deep meaning and I fear that this style might be missing in the music that is mainline these days. Chimbetu, Zhakata, Tuku were household names.
