This woman just said, her mother lived in Accra yet couldn't speak Ga, she lived in Bimbila for years and still her Mother couldn't speak Dagbani language, she advised her Mother is one of those people who don't understand any other language apart from her mother tongue which is the volta language. For any president to become president the majority of the ppl has to vote for that person to become president and win the election. Why I’m saying this is it’s a numbers game. Since it’s a numbers game, the AKANS are the dominant ppl in Ghana 🇬🇭 the TWI tongue 👅 also is most dominant tongue 👅 in Ghana 🇬🇭! That means 60% or more of Ghana 🇬🇭 speaks twi! Which also means all has to learn that tongue 👅 cause it’s the most spoken tongue 😜 in Ghana 🇬🇭! All AKANS should band together and control ghana 🇬🇭 properly, because we are the majority and we all should vote the same so all of the other tribes families and clans will in and know who and what we are! Ghana is in the condition it’s in because of AKANS, we are the majority and we should move as such and let the rest know, Ghana 🇬🇭 is Ghana 🇬🇭 because of the AKANS! The Ga, Fante and now Ewes have always had a problem with Asantes speaking their birth tongue in Ghana but you will never hear them complain about Northerners or Ewes speaking their birth tongues. Go to Kotoka airport or any embassy around the world where a Ga Fante or Ewe person works and you will find that some of them go out of their way to give Twi speakers or travelers with Asante names a hard time. It is common knowledge in America that the only time you will find Ga, Fante or Northerners socializing or identifying themselves as Ghanaians to Asantes is when they need help. Strangely though Asantes, and Ewe-men are the most trustworthy people you can work with when you meet them outside Ghana. The people I am particularly cautious with when I am outside Ghana are Fantes and Ga.

Anlo land was part. Gold coast was too small to be a sovereign state that is why the British told Nkrumah to convince Transvolta Togoland with the exception of Anlo land which was already part of it to join through a plebiscite. The contribution of Ewes cannot be erased or revised to suit a certain narrative. Ewes are not the problem. Do some serious introspection before you spew nonsense or apply innuendos.

The woman was only talking about assimilation and for your information, english is an official language of ghana cos we have more 100 languages in ghana, so it will be easy to communicate with everyone somehow.... We all know that akan is the biggest language in Ghana, but for harmony and assimilation purposes, making an effort to speak your host languages helps to educate one and the other
