Brooooo if more people knew about rocky when this came out around 2010-2011 he would’ve blown up instantly. I was about 16 at the time and it influenced me so much it’s crazy, for the better I mean. It made me feel like I could be confident and cool in my own way. This whole tape is so nostalgic and is one of the best tapes of the 21st century. Easily Rocky’s best work. So many people still don’t even know this exists. Sometimes I’ll put it on in the car and people will be like “oh is this new rocky?” And I’ll be like boyyyyy this shit is a damn decade old. Same with Vince Staple’s tapes “Shyne Coldchain,” “Winter in Prague,” and his collab with Mac Miller “Stolen Youth” - check those out if you aren’t familiar with them, definitely Vince’s best work and also from around 2010-2012. You’ll love them if you like this sound of Rocky
