I read somewhere that Aile/Grey are the canon characters, but as far as I care, both pairs exist. Vent and Aile are twins, and there are two Model A's, X's, and, after geting it from Giro, Z's. I support this with the fact that the biometals can be split, as shown in ZX with the pseudoroids. Ashe and Grey find two halves of Model A, but the story is overall the same, just they never run into one another.

Giro was definitely Zero... No way he would fall from space and die, he got better the first time, and no other reploid has that long of hair. I'm also 85% Positive he faked his death with a well timed transport. Zero probably couldn't die if he wanted to. And in the "Canon" version of the story, Vent and Aile are siblings, quite possibly twins, and follows Ashe's story in ZXA otherwise. Or at least that's what I got out of all of the ref places. It seems Giro may have also been scheduled to make a reappearance in a possible third game, before Capcom shut down megaman. Therefore the fandom can come up with any answer they like.

I'd like to believe you but the thing is the Biometal are made from the consciousness of the original characters. They couldn't have been made unless their conscious was put into the Biometal. Besides, if Giro were Zero than that wouldn't make sense. Why would he purposely go threw all those years, just to die again and pretend that he lost all his memories.

That's a very good point to bring up, at any rate, Zero wasn't really a fan of being called "hero" so it makes sense that he would go into hiding after surviving falling from space, again. This of course brings up the biometal question, the thing is, cyber X is still in the cyber dimension at the time of ZX. Now, Models X and Z alone seem weaker than the other biometals when used by themselves, and this may be related to the possibility of neither hero being scraped in order to be built into biometal. In addition, in Aile's story, Prairie alludes to Giro being a reploid from her time as well, and an old friend at that. Of course, this is all speculation, but it would be pretty darn crazy if this was the case.

@AvoryAzion the classic, x, zero, zx, and legends series' all take place in the same timeline at different time periods (in the order listen), battle network and starforce take place in an alternate timeline, so you're almost right, all you got wrong was the legends part, oh and what do you mean "involve the same megaman"? because if you mean they're all the classic megaman across time (which i doubt), then you're wrong on that as well

Adapt those issue for issue into shows. Shows and movie only take elements from certain arcs. I want a set of animated American heroes following their comic book counterparts issue for issue. I have a headcannon that Gero from Megaman ZX. And Zero from Megaman X-Zero are the same person. It would explain why he know Ciel and made promises to her. And why he knows Prairie and the Guardians. Plus it also explains the reason he has access to them. But it's just a little headcannon I cooked up.

It's very possible, I mean at the start of MMZero 2, Zero's lack of maintenance caused him to collapse (Being in a sandstorm and having to fight a giant robot scorpion speeds it up), so it's very possible that not battling for so long (I'm pretty sure that most maverick in ZX can be took down easily with just a normal Buster) have most likely left him with weakened body and instincts, and having to defend Vent/Aile at the same time lets that snake to hit him when his guard's down and mind control him

Giro is not Zero. Model Z is based on Zero's _essence_ to put it loosely. More accurate would probably be computer chips and the likes. And if we want to be really technical about it, Zero and X are the only two *true* new age Androids. Every single other android was based on X's schematics for independent thoughts while Zero was, mostly left alone ( _except for Sigma's meddling in X5, and later Weil during the Elf Wars_ ). Giro does however, share resemblance to Zero and even uses the same voice actor but presented in a different way, all to allude to his connection to Model Z, not to mention that Zero and Giro both want the same thing. So you can say that, Giro is Zero, but Giro *_isn't_* Zero.

Prairie as a human is already dead, she already explained in the game that she has preserved her memories. The prairie we see now is actually a reploid with the same intellect and memories. Unfortunately she's not a scientist like Ciel though, despite that Ciel was a 12 yr old genius scientist who made copy-x.... And like Zeithri said, anything that is a reploid came after the creation of X and Zero. Every reploid 'pretty' much are just knockoffs of X and his DNA since Dr. Albert used his DNA and other 'futuristic' features as a basis to create new robots called Reploids that can think for themselves.
