Thats not a rule at all. If you are referencing the MSWGI post from before the game that was made by an individual without consulting with the other Cadre or Josh/Brian themselves. That has never been a rule and probably never be.

@@tumortim666 I would assume because an RPK16 is just a regular 74 at heart, its not long like a usual RPK. All the advantages of an LMG class with none of the disadvantages. Same way the m27 isnt allowed as an LMG on NATO side

Im not sure but the camera im using was IR converted so it definitely boost ambient lighting. Environment was much darker than this.

That amount of light wouldn’t damage any tubes that I can think of off the top of my head. It surprised the hell out of me at first but once you start using NVG’s more you realize how much light you can use them in (i almost always have them on just above my eye line inside because things go from light to dark VERY quickly and your eyes don’t also always have time to adjust) and how much they can take. On that note definitely don’t shine lasers or white light into a tube lol

The night portion was filmed on an IR converted Sony A7S3 loaned to me by the Dirty Civilian KZbin Channel for this event. Majority of the NATO guys in the night portion were running IR lights.

Were you running a camera with IR capability or just super high exposure? I thought the NATO guys were being tards running NVGs when you can see just fine but then I noticed those tac lights looked super bright and the glowsticks on their helmets appear white 🤣

Both I had a second camera loaned to me with IR capability. I didnt compensate for lighting as the sun rose during dawn. Day footage was on my personal Nikon Z6II. IR footage was on IR converted Sony A7s3.
