I too am a child of God from 1971!! This is so amazing to watch and especially because my daughter graduated in 1999 from Asbury and I was in this Capel for her graduation! She also went this past weekend to meet a couple roommates and experience this move of God her words!! Praise God🙌🙌🙌💜✝️💜

I am getting so blessed to see those from the 70's movement posting about how we all have been waiting for such a time as this. I knew it was coming but not when or how it would start. Many have spoken of revival but it just was not what it should be. This I recognize and know in my spirit that it is genuine! Blessing to you my sister in Christ 😁❤️

The more I hear about the genuineness of the testimonies about this move, makes my heart swell with thankfulness to God! I came to know the Lord Jesus as my Savior in 1972. I asked Him to come into my heart and I literally felt Him come in, and also felt a heaviness like a backpack just fly off of me! I knew without a doubt the Lord was now abiding in me. My life changed for the better that day and He still resides in me and continues to lead me, guide me, and bless me day by day. Glory be to God and if you do not know Jesus, invite Him to come into your heart and be your Savior and Lord! You will not regret it ever!

Zack Meerkreebs message was so on point. He set the kindling on the hearts of the students. He told them "you can't love unless you experience Yahushua's love. Once you feel his love, you can love others.!" He then closed out Chapel with a call to the HOLY SPIRIT to move through the pews and rest upon those that needed his love. Over 20 years ago a message was preached in my church about the Asbury College revival of 1970. I’ve been asking God to do it again ever since. I watch the documentary on it several times a year. Now it appears God may be doing it again. A revival of simple, powerful repentance, nothing to do with man. Humility defined the 1970 event, and it seems to permeate this happening in 2023, too. Suddenly I want a closer walk, a deeper love for Jesus, true repentance, revival inside of me. Inside of you, too.

"I don't know what they have, but I want it". Wow, that just sums it up for me. I try to be a good Christian. I pray and read a bible passage every day. But I want more. This is what Christianity is supposed to be. Knowing and experiencing God as our Father, and sharing what "we have" to the world. The "light", the righteous, loving way of life made possible by the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. That's why Jesus called His disciples His witnesses. They are to share the truth of God, what they saw; the power, love, mercy, and grace of Jesus Christ IN ACTION. Christianity is not theology, it's the way of life prescribed by God for His creations, which He made possible in us by the enablement of the Holy Spirit.

Feeling saved is not being saved. 1st Cor. 9:27 is a testimony to this truth.

Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ (alone) for salvation. How can you possibly trust Christ alone for salvation when you are also trusting in your performance? Repentance of sins is law keeping and is a lifetime of works and has never saved anyone or contributed in any way to salvation. That's a service issue. Salvation is absolutely free and not conditional upon service. These clowns have another gospel of faith plus works equals salvation nonsense.

The Asbury University event was advertised for at least a week before it started. It was not a spontaneous event, but a planned event. For any Asbury University official to suggest otherwise, is dishonest. Why the doublespeak? This is disappointing. You don't force the holy spirit on people. Jesus told the disciples to wait in the upper room for the outpouring of the spirit. And also speaking in tongues doesn't mean you speak in an unknown language. People end to understand d what you are saying. After the holy Ghost fell on the disciples, they started to speak in tongues ,and people could understand what they were saying. Some were speaking Galalians, some from different nations. The crowd was saying are these Galalians? How is it that they know our language? So speaking in tongues means speaking g different languages for example Japanese,Chinese , African, Micronesian, and many otheMicronesia, The Holy spirit gave power to the disciples to speak in different languages. That's what speaking in tongue is. Don't be deceived people. Read your Bible carefully and do your own research.
