Honestly, I'm surprised I'm even here or care but I guess it's just who I am. On the other aspect, I see myself here for what reason? You have a voice. Sometimes the past is hard to get past. Not just between us but with others also. There are always and will be the he said, she said stuff that nobody can get over no matter how long it’s been or whatever the case may be. Someone always feels that they were the ones that got the bad end of the stick somehow in the situation, especially when one or the other is maybe doing better than the other and may feel like they wouldn’t be where they are at if it wasn’t for them, type of thing. Life is hard and some people can just handle life’s ups and downs better than others. I don’t know why but that’s just the way that it is. I feel life is kind of being alone even when you have others in your life because everything is really up to you when it comes down to it. You may be able to work together to some point but some times you have to make those split second decisions on your own and there won’t always be someone there when you need them. The one, I feel that is doing better is going to get the blame whether it was their fault or the other person’s fault or if both was at fault. Things end for a reason and everybody involved has to except it because in most cases there is no going back and everyone involved knows that but are still hurt from it. I know guys don’t like to feel, especially if they have others in there life that will give them a hard time about it. My dad was like that, he didn’t want anybody to know or see his soft side but sometimes it came out at very emotional times but it sure didn’t last long so usually we just saw him as mean and insensitive because I know especially when he passed away and before he passed, I was so angry at him because I feel that he and I could have had a great relationship if he would have only allowed for that to happen but he basically chose not to have a relationship at all with me. I saw some of my friends with their dad’s and I wished so much that I could have that with my dad but I had to settle for him just being there and having nothing with him but anger and the bad stuff but I did see the potential of what could have been. To be honest, sometimes I wished that I could have been in another family because my whole family was cold. I have no idea how I turned out the way I did but I just know I want what I feel and maybe someday someone will understand my love language but I know everything will have to be right with the right person and at the right time so for now I just have to except that nobody gets it right now. To me being one on one comes pretty naturally for me because that is pretty much all I have done my whole life. I just think it comes down to respecting each other and including them in whatever is going on with you. Probably not everything because I feel most people have things about themselves that they won’t let anybody know about themselves and it will be taken with them to their grave but I really just think it comes down to having respect for the other person. Things will be harder now because of where we are at. We both moved on from each other and have different lives that doesn’t really allow going back. That is why when I part from someone for whatever reason I think long and hard about leaving them behind because I know, usually this is the end and there is no going back. Usually, once you leave, you can’t go back. If I was in a position to do so I probably would be open to exploring the possibility of trying again but I don’t want to possibly mess up what is going on now. I’m so up in the air right now that I can’t say everything is great and it never has been but I do have some stability. I do believe that everything happens for a reason. I feel that you just needed to know what YOU wanted and not let anything to sway you and make you think otherwise. I feel once YOU know what YOU want that is all that matters because you have to be happy with yourself for the rest of your life because those others may not always be there forever with you but you will be with you for the rest of your life so you are the only one that knows best for what makes you happy, that gives you the power to feel what you want to feel, when you want to feel and with whom you want to feel it with. You are the only one that can allow for that to happen. Yes, there will be outside interference but you can have the power of how you react to it. Just because something is offered doesn’t mean you have to take it if you really don’t want. I won’t let go. I will still be here in whatever way that I can.

I really don’t ask for much because I believe so much that you need to still be your own person with or without someone. Sometimes it can be hard to do that because others won’t allow you to be your own person especially if they know you have someone in your life. It’s kind of like well what about so and so and you have to be so careful as to not cross any lines because what is acceptable to you may not be acceptable to someone else. Being single has more acceptance about doing thing than having someone in your life. When you have someone in your life you kind of get judged because of that someone in your life and your not really allowed to let loose and be yourself because now they see that something may not be appropriate because of the person in your life. When you are single it seems that you can do the same things and are more appropriate to do but if you do the same thing when you have a significant other it is perceived totally different and unacceptable and you are frowned upon so that is really the only difference between single and not single. It’s all a mindset sometimes you have to spend time away to be able to understand what you really want and need. Once you know what you want you won’t let anything happen. I pretty much know what I need in my life but don’t get me wrong sometimes I tend to live on the edge every now and then, not too often but when things need to happen I let them happen when things are right. When you feel free to do what you want you will let it happen. Change can be hard and different but sometimes it’s much needed sometimes. Don’t worry, everything will be okay.
