I was so down for the work but I wasn’t being seen/appreciated fully and I feel like everything in me (and my spiritual team) just kept saying “you’re being short changed”. #2 I’m an Aries and he’s a Capricorn. We met in 2022 and I cut him off and told him to come back when he’s ready. He came back during the first day of Ramadan in 2024. Today my friend turned great lady moved to another city and she told me that I am her best friend and she said she couldn't do much about this relationship but want this love affection from my side. My dear, I totally comprehend everything you feel about your circumstances regarding your love path. I still want you to know that possibilities are infinite. Most ladies feel bad when going through a lot in their relationship especially after a breakup or divorce. Especially when u starting talking fast, saying I want this, but I don’t know, I know it could be successful, but I don’t know if I can be what she deserves- the back and forth conflicting thoughts talking out loud it’s like you were channeling him because he behaves that same exact way! He actually speaks like that when he’s thinking things over- he talks out loud to himself and I always get a kick out of it because it’s quirky. Everything of how he feels and saids he loves me, told me Im his treasure, Im his renaissance woman.. but then he doesn’t show it. I live in GA, He’s in NY. So that’s where the distance comes in and he lost his job. So that’s the lack of finances. And he’s in the midst of an eviction, so I’ve been trying to support him financially, when I can because Im also a single mom of 5, I have my own bills. But sometimes when he needs help, it’s like he expects it of me and the way he talks is very aggressive. He has displaced anger. I know because of all he’s going through he’s upset with himself, but he takes it out on me. And he keeps questioning my loyalty because I starting withdrawing my attention, but only because there’s an absolute lack of it from him to me. I bombard him with texts. I send him voice notes. Sometimes he responds, sometimes he doesn’t. I call, he doesn’t pick up. When im on the phone with him, he rushes me off and saids he’s gonna call back, but doesn’t. Saids his phone has to charge. A lot of excuses that would make me feel like his heart is not all in as much as mine is. So naturally, I feel rejected, not appreciated. But When he saids he can’t afford food for him and his dog. I send him what I could spare. So the dog barking, is like it’s his dog. You feeling hunger, is like him saying he’s hungry. Im Scorpio full of emotion and he’s Virgo, with lack of emotional intelligence and he did admit he has abandonment issues. He didn’t grow up with his father, he was adopted by the next guy in his mothers life, who she went on to have 2 more kids with. So he always grew up feeling left out, because his brother and sister shared the same dad, but he was adopted. The letters DAMON all appeared and that’s his name! We just had a fight. I’ve been giving him the silent treatment since Thursday. Today, he really made me cry by lashing out. So this video really resonates with me and I really hope we can make it work, Because I do love him, I know he loves me like he hasn’t loved another woman before and that really scares him how fast it happened. We only starting dating in April. But our parents are childhood friends so we’ve always known each other. Unfortunately, his mom passed from COVID in 2020.

Reading this felt so familiar to an experience I had. It sounds like you’re very empathetic and care a lot. Sometimes no matter how well we understand someone else’s wounds it’s more important that that they do. If they’re not addressing it despite discussing option it’s very likely that that you may be in the same situation in the future. May I suggest letting him go so he can work on his stuff and detaching from the outcome? Work I yourself and what you deserve because as women we often choose to be someone’s soft space to land, but we are not rehabilitation centres for men and they have to choose to step up or not. And we as women need to ensure that we don’t abandon our inner child in our pursuit of saving someone else’s. Apologies if it’s out of line but I really felt I needed to share this
