Sharing with you the best ascorbic acid serums. Pure form vitamin C products which will be perfect addition to your anti-ageing skincare routine. The best vitamin C serums for quick results.
Hey guys and welcome back to Mad About Skin where today we are talking ascorbic acid and the best pure form vital in c serum for your skincare routine. Maximum glow and anti-ageing skincare in the shortest possible time.
Those of you who have watched the channel before know I prefer vitamin c derivatives for my own skincare routine, over the ascorbic acid pure form variety. I find derivatives deliver all the great benefits of vitamin c in the long term but with fewer side effects in the short term and are easier to incorporate in your skin care routine.
Ascorbic acid and l-ascorbic acid are both wonderful pure versions of vitamin c which for the right skin types can give you glowing skin in a fraction of the time derivates take and boost collagen production in the skin for anti ageing benefits.
In this video I want to share with you the best vitamin c serums which are ascorbic acid based, helping you to work out the ones which will deliver all the glow benefit for your routine but with the minimal side effects.
We will look at the following:
* best vitamin c serum for dry skin
* best vitamin c serum for sensitive skin
* best drugstore vitamin c serum
* best korean vitamin c serum
I would love to know what your preference is when it comes to vitamin c serums, do you prefer ascorbic acid or vitamin c derivatives, please leave me a comment below and dont forget to let me know your vitamin c before and after results.
If you enjoyed this video and would like to see more in the series then please give it a like to support me and the channel and to let me know.

The airless pump on the Timeless is a big deal for me. I found dropper bottle ascorbic acids tend to oxidize pretty quickly. Ascorbic acid hasn't lightened my pigmented sun damage, but has made my skin firmer than it was without it.

I was meaning to try timeless but the price was too much. I guess its more affordable for those in the states. However, in asia, the price is ridiculous. I'll stick with g&g. Plus, its always been clear even when stretching towards the third month. But the hype on timeless got me interested.

I’d also add you can use Vit C maybe 3 times a week (every other day) & still see noticeable results. It’s not necessary to use daily. And I’d be very careful about using it in same routine as exfoliators, for risk of irritation.

On another channel, I forget the name but the creator is Australian and has a PHD in chemistry. Anyway, there is truth to what you're saying. She said that you only need it every 36-48 hours because the receptors fill up. My words, not exactly hers, but I think close enough to what she actually said. So, you're on to something. :-). Edit:. I’m on team Ascorbic Acid, my skin loves it and it’s done wonders for it! I’ve tried several brands and my favorite is Glow Maker by Maelove. It has all the good stuff at a good price and is a California based company so I feel like I’m buying local-ish. My tip to keep it fresher longer: I use a 0.5 ounce Infinity Jar pump bottle. I decant half the bottle and store the original bottle in the refrigerator.

I enjoy both forms depending on formula. I try to find products that have both forms. Lately my go to products have been GM niacinamide toner and TO ascorbic acid + alpha arbutin. The percentages are strong enough to see a change but is non-irritating. Yes, a full brand review would be nice. I have heard other creators I watch mention the brand but haven't done a review.

@@marishkasmith5193 I did start with the 20% yes. I found a few ph test videos and the 20% was the one used. It’s recommended by a number of reviewers. That is good to know that 10% exists. I still might try out The Ordinary Vitamin C powder. I can adjust that ph of my water and have some dark bottles so I may experiment with that sometime. Very happy with 20% Timeless C. What a timely video...I've been wanting to upgrade to Pure Vit C and have been doing research on it lately. Thank you Rob and you read my mind 🙂 First off, I am not disciplined to stick my skin care in fridge and the fact that good packaging is a critical criteria for maximizing the efficacy of the product, leaves me with no choices. How about Vit C powder instead? Can be mixed with aloe and applied on the go? Nice and fresh, hazzle free product maintenance and gives you max efficacy. Your thoughts on powder form is much appreciated. Secondly, a question for you. Can I layer peptides and niacinamide with pure Vit C? Thank much ..you look lovely in yellow btw .

The Timeless gives good results but I’m not gonna repurchase it because of it’s extremely high concentration of Ethoxydiglycol (more than 20%, it’s listed before Ascorbic Acid). It’s a penetration enhancer and also used in dyes, wood stains, paints. Guess that’s why it works so well. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not one of these “clean beauty” folks but I guess there’s a reason why in the EU the allowed maximum concentration for cosmetics is at 2.6 percent. Gonna try out the G&G, although an airless pump bottle would be sooo much nicer.

But if there is a vitamin c product I am interested in trying is LRP and Vichy's vitamin c serums. Tbh though I would rather spend that money on any retinol products I can find. I have used Timeless vitamine this is one is a keeper. However did’t liked purito vitamine C, it oxides very fast and didnt saw any change. Used by wishtrend vitamine c the higher percentage vitamine c that one was also a good choice, i used it with the OD ferulic acid and a drop vitamine e oil. Now i will try out geek and gorgeous as it is available in dNetherlands, im not much of a fan vitamine c what comes with a dropper.
