I do have a master torch. It is at the very top of the rock work. I think I have a video like that, but I’m possibly due to update it! Thanks for the compliment!

Amazing tank. I maybe want to buy a banan torch. But when you put the light on white what color does your holy grail looks like?

Stunning! I love torch corals. Have you ever had issues with polyp bailout or brown jelly with that type of flow?
@HerbysReef4 жыл бұрын
I think torches are prone to this. I have had some colonies bail and brown jelly, but I really dont think it is the flow. Many of my torch keeping friends do way more flow than I do. I think most of the issues are bacterial infections. I have started dosing chemiclean every three months, and I have hardly had any problems since then.. Hopefully they arent about to start now!!

@@HerbysReef I see! I recently had a NY Knicks that had a polyp bailout and that was devastating!! Though it was my fault because my flow was fairly moderate but not very strong or direct flow. It was recently shipped and bailed out on day 4. Thank you for getting back to me!

@@AlanHuiRealty I would try to get one from cherry corals, or a place that aquacultures them. You will pay more, but I find they are much heartier. My parameters never vary and I still have some of the ones shipped from indo do the same. You can certainly hit them with too much flow, but I bet your issue was more bacterial. Look up grant u on instagram. He has a huge torch tank and he blasts his with flow.

Hey I mentioned last vid on my experience with brightwells coral amino, well I bought some again and honestly within a week my favorite sps look allot better just dosing 1 ml per total volume, won’t dose without again, lesson learned,!
@HerbysReef4 жыл бұрын
Ok, I bought some and started dosing yesterday. Hopefully mine will color up too! 1 ml per total volume would be 180 ml for me. Is that what you mean? That would get very expensive, I assume I am misunderstanding. I have been dosing 4 ml per day just to the sps tank and letting it circulate 10 min in there before turning pumps back on. It is around 40 gal

Herby’s Reef I think it’s 1ml for every 10 gallons of volume, I dose 10 ml a day for my 112 gallon system, just try in ur frag tank, I usually just dump it in, hope it does well for you!
