Just great straight-ahead rock. Talent, passion, enthusiasm, and drive are what these humble and hard-working ladies bring to every performance. Watch their live show from Mexico City in August of 2022. Any song from that two-night stand is incredible.

Great reaction regarding the sisters as performers. No profanity, no sex, no drugs, no alcohol, no stylized heavy makeup. no flaunting of non-musical assets - The Warning have been great role models for girls & boys. Its no wonder that their concerts are family events with audience ranging from 7 to 70; often spanning 3 generations. They have brought a much needed change for sure. As their recent Lat Am tour showed the girls have managed to reach the youth of these nations - their generation & younger. Rock will live on through the Villarreal sisters. Now back to music. Pau runs her own show from behind the drums with her posture & ability to connect with the audience. And once in a while when she gets released from her kit Pau is an explosive front woman - like an Energizer Bunny on Red Bull. In Martirio she uses intelligent drum patterns to define various sections of a song. At the end of first verse, with short fills & crashes of cymbals from 0:59 to 1:02 of the official video, Pau settles into a sumptuous rhythm from 1:03 onwards that comprises of 2 sections. The 1st is the main beat carried throughout the song. The 2nd is a rhythm executed on her snare, toms & floor toms. She carries this on for about 9 bars and doesn't repeat it anywhere else. Subtle crisp drumming. Going at 100 kmph with power is not the only sign of musical virtuosity, technical ability & out of the box creativity. I hope The Warning will play Narcisista & Martirio at Wacken. As many Muse fans, now members of The Warning Army, have posted - the sisters should have played these songs during recent Euro tour with their idols. With all 3 German venues getting upgraded to meet extra demand for tickets to their upcoming April shows, let's hope that it gives them confidence to play their Spanish hits at Wacken.

Video was shot in the Icamole Desert north of Monterrey, Mexico. The women are DPA, their mom, a cousin and a friend. When they returned home they were covered in sand and dust. Martirio = martyrdom. The song calls out someone who lives life as a perpetual martyr (victim). This song was previewed during their tour in 2019 in Argentina. It was later incorporated into their third album, Error in 2020 - released in 2022.

A little info about the girls… They are 3 sisters from Monterrey, Mexico. They fell in love with rock music when their parents bought them the video game “Rock-band”. That’s how everything started. The band just celebrated their 10th year anniversary. - 👩🏼 Daniela (Dany) Guitar and lead vocals. She is 23 years old. She plays piano and saxophone 🎷. She is sponsored by PRS. She loves donuts 🍩. Her main hobby is diamond painting 🖼️. She just started a collection of pictures of herself next to fire extinguishers🧯 from all over the world. She is a sweetheart, very loving girl and disciplined. She has the best voice for rock music in the industry today. Only Lzzy Hale can compete with Dany. On tour she always has to have fresh fruit. 🍉 🍎 🍊 - 🧑🏻🦰 Paulina (Pau) Drums and vocals. She is 21 years old. She is sponsored by Sabian. She plays piano. 🎹 She collects Anime and Vinyls. She writes almost all the lyrics for the band. She is a genius firecracker 🧨 She is an amazing drummer and she can sing while she plays, very difficult thing to do. She has a tremendous voice that transmits a lot of emotion. She is the lead singer in many of their songs. NEVER tell her in the “meet and greets” that she is short person, she’ll get mad. She is going to make you cry when she sings the song “black holes”. Prepare the tissues 😢. - 👧🏻 Alejandra (Ale) Bass and Vocals. She is sponsored by Spector. She plays piano 🎹. This girl is the youngest (19) but she is the tallest. Ale is a tremendous bass player, she is a clean, clear and consistent player. She sings well but she doesn’t like to sing. She prefers the backing vocals. She loves Takis chips (fire). NEVER put pineapple in her pizza 🍕, she will get mad. She is very reserved, but very smart!. When things are going out of control in the band, she is the voice of reason. She has super strength powers, she can break an apple with her little bare hands 🍏💪🏻.

I recommend the Teatro Metropolitan full concert. Some reactors have gone song by song and others have live streamed the concert. If you do individual songs you miss out on the flow and feel of the concert, where the songs fit with each other. They also have a short intermission when they changed outfits for the second half of the concert and you miss out on the between songs happenings. They are class with sass and let their musical talent speak for them. I like to say music and performing ARE their DNA.

This last summer, TW where to play as the first band on a stage at Rock am Ring and Pau was nervous about playing for Europeans. Dany looked at her and said "don´t worry nobody knows us here, this is Europe. So Pau took a peek from behind the curtains over the stage and she lost her breath. "There are so many people!" she said. It was packed with a big audience who where there to watch the first band on the stage, all there to see The Warning! These women are so down to earth and so humble they did not expect any one even knowing about them in Europe. This is TW, they do their best but don´t overvalue them selves. They are not an act, they are them selves and that is what is so appealing about them. Your reaction is on the spot! And as you said, they are getting more heavy, it shows in the last two new songs HYCAD (Hell you call a dream) and SICK which they recently have just showcased live. Again, love your reaction!

THE WARNING LIVE AT TEATRO METROPOLITAN CDMX 8/29/22 ... it's 22 songs and it's unbelievably special...you want to see Paulina drum and sing ? do the song 23, or Dust to Dust....or sing and no drumming, try Revenant ,or Narcisisita ..enjoy ..🤟🎶☮️

the covering over the building frame was not supposed to be shredded but the winds had other ideas so DPA/TW and the team decided not to fight it... it makes for a nice atmosphere and works pretty well for this OMV... this is not the first time they've had to deal with the winds, either... one or two of their other MVs that were shot outside were also on windy days... their Foo Fighters cover of *The Pretender* comes to mind... there were also comments about how the blowing sand stung and caused them to feel like they had a sunburn... they did a great and professional job, that's for sure 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

Hey Ann, on your previous reaction I wrote the same video but with english subtitles. The lyrics are great too (dedicated to people who constantly blame themselves for everything, I think) Also, I have red that they recorded this video in the middle of the desert (Mexico, it seems), from 4am to 11pm, with 45° during the afternoon and that tent was supposed to be use as a cover, but the strong dusty wind blew it all up, still I think it adds a dark atmosphere to the video. Cheers (also check the video from ted University, the one from 2017)

In one reaction you said you felt really proud of them like a mother. For a lot of us older fans that's exactly what it's like. We've watched them grow up on KZbin. They did a cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman over 10 years ago and the video went viral on KZbin. Ale, the bass player was 9 at the time. Kirk Hammett commented on it and that lit the fuse. They've been building their fan base over the years while putting out three albums; XXI Century Blood, Queen of the Murder Scene and Error. QotMS is a concept album broken up into 4 chapters of three songs each. The fourth album Keep Me Fed drops on June 28th. You should check out some of the videos over the years to really appreciate their growth. Some of the highlights are: the original Enter Sandman cover, their cover of the Pretender by Foo Fighters, their cover of Metallica's Atlas Rise at the Whisky a Go Go, their two TED talk performances, and Pau's cover of Creep that she did as an Instagram challenge. Metallica invited them and Alecia Cara (Canadian pop singer) to do a cover of Enter Sandman for their Black List Album. It's a bunch of covers of songs on their Black Album to celebrate it's 30th anniversary by artists Metallica admire. They arranged, recorded and shot the video for it in a week. Now they play it at every show. Touring wise, they've opened for Muse, Def Leppard, Guns And Roses, Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless, Foo Fighters, etc. Now they doing a headlining world tour. They just went through Europe and are now it Japan.

To really enjoy TW live just wait until you see the other songs… But from their presentation “Live at Teatro Metropólitan CDMX" such as: "Disciple", "Animosity", "Z", "Queen Of The Murder Scene", "Dull Knives (Cut Better)", "Money", "Dust to Dust", "Choke", "Hunter", "Ugh", "Narcisista" (in Spanish), "Error",", "Survive", “Enter Sandman” (own version), "When I'm Alone", "23", "Kool Aid Kids", "Amour", "Revenant" (acoustic)... It will leave you speechless with such musical quality, with such good hard rock that corresponds to the 3rd. album released by TW called "Error" and also something from their previous album that is a gem, a masterpiece, its tremendous concept album called "Queen Of The Murder Scene" and of course its live version is also better. The details of all this will be shown to you as the rest of the TWArmy tells you in more detail. If you decide to react to "Evolve" in its recent presentation at MTV's VMA, it will be at your own health risk because it will blow your mind. "More" is a new song that they also performed at that presentation. For now I'm subscribing to your channel because I hope to see many reactions from you to my favorite band of all time. Thanks and greetings from México!! 🇲🇽 🤘😁✌️
