MsPharmacytechnician, first, thank you for producing such a high quality educational videos. I'll be referring coworkers, past and present, to them. In preparing for a "media field test" - more later - I'm glad the Almighty Universe put your "Aseptic Technique" videos at my disposal. I would like to add a small step which is performed in many hospitals. Right about the 11:36 mark in this Part 2 video, a sterile seal is affixed to the needle port in the bag to protect it from the environment.

A media field test is employed to assess the appropriateness of IV room employees performing the techniques you've shown here. The vials/bags/syringes prepared are then set aside and compared at a future date for growth. If no growth is detected, the candidate is issued a passing grade. This process could be repeated if a candidate fails the initial test accordance to facility protocols. Thank you!

I thought you were supposed to only go one way/direction with a filter needle, either withdrawing or injecting, si o no?

When breaking an ampule you are to use a alcohol pad (not bare hands) and break away from you
