I will examine truly and find my tikkunim since I know there is more than one. I don’t want to remain in the middle. I want to find my purpose since I know my time is short. I want to be only righteous and no more being lazy for my neshama, I want to climb up the ladder and grow fulfilling my purpose, painting my picture. Yes, thieves with the time we have. We stole the time when we don’t fulfill our purpose. So, true and I’ve stolen decades. 😭 But, I recognize it and no more!

I've read the whole books of the major and minor prophets several times. When I do get to the Haftaros in my Chumash readings, I actually do go and read the whole chapter. It's helped me so much!

What should I say to a fellow Jew who says everyone can decide the level of performing mitzvas? To someone who warns that "be careful with the religious people"? To someone who says that he's going to fast the way he thinks is the best for him on Yom Kippur? To someone who says to a convert "After you have converted, you decide your level of keeping the mitzvas"? I said to him today: "Dear friend (my Hebrew teacher), I cannot go back to the old life and I cannot change my way anymore to the secular way and I don't even WANT to do so! I have learned so much and received so much that I want to keep ALL the mitzvas!". I just got a weird look and I know he didn't understand AT ALL what I was saying. I can only pray that this Yom Kippur Hashem will touch my Hebrew teacher and make a miracle for him to start loving Hashem from the bottom of his heart..

That is a very good question... I would tell that person that his relationship with Hashem is between Him and Hashem - although his actions affects the entire nation - but to go around dictating people how THEY should serve Hashem is incorrect. You should continue in the ways of Hashem as you have been and know that your attitude and path is the right one. To serve Hashem to the best of your ability and to even sacrifice on His behalf is a wonderful trait of righteousness. If someone else chooses to disregard his own obligations to His creator, we can only pray that He wakes up one day and repents.

Toda raba for your answer! I will continue in the path of Torah and praying for Hashem to wake up the soul who still lives in the life of lies. I'll give him also that answer you adviced when ever he challenges the Torah way. I feel sad that he is already in his 70's and oi vei that pain when he wakes up to realize how much time he has waisted 😟 I regret many times all my former mistakes and know I cannot afford to make the same mistakes again. I'm happy I found Judaism and the faith to the ONLY and TRUE G-D
