Asetek ABS PEDALS?!??

The ABS pedal is awesome, but I think the big find here is the third party adapter quick release. That's potentially huge for adoption.

Asetek is really putting out some impressive products. I just upgraded to a Moza R9 with a GS wheel and loving it, so far. That upgrade was in my budget, but I would definitely consider Asetek if it was in my budget. The quality looks really good from the videos. I think these products will really push the competitor brands to innovate and offer better pricing, as well.

I am seriously considering a switch from Fanatec!! These guys are listening to what sim-racers want!! They don't imply that whatever product is being launched is gonna be hot topic. For example; They launched the La Prima in a bundle, everything included. People sent their feedback and the next day you were able to just buy the wheelbase without the pedals. Same goes for their seperate pedals now, mix and match and BAM, you can fully customize to your own wishes. A very high chance I'm gonna switch!! Great insights LD, thanks!

Now I'm really interested in asetec eco system. Was not expecting they will have that many things that quick. Can you notice any play in that quick release? And could you have a longer run with forte base and share your feedback?

I using the invicta 3 pedals now sind June 22 and ... I love the pedals. Driving more constant and I have a good braking feeling on cars without abs in rFactor2 like the GTE oor 992 cup Prsche or the M4 Class1. the pedals are awesome good work.

Can you eventually give a break down on the hands on differences between the La Prima, Forte and Invicta Wheelbase. Would be greatly appreciated. I am about to pre order, but still in between the given options.

Sure. The main differences are the power and led strips. Other than that they are very similar. The forte and La prima have the same motor and the invicta is a bigger motor.

@@LaurenceDusoswa Hey Laurence, Appreciate your response. Joe from OvertakeGG has described the La Prima as a bit "dull" at first glimps, in comparison to the outstandinng Invicta. No word about the Forte as of now. Can you confirm? Or can you recommend the La Prima. I am coming from a T300, so I have no worries about all of them (including the Forte) being superior. Just curious for which one to order. :)

More wheels coming in 23 but you can also use 3rd party wheels with the Asetek QR. You see on the video which companies.

@@Fred_Bassett Yes, I have heard that, but I wondered if they had any prototypes to show at the expo. Third party wheel compatibility is great, just that those brands are insanely expensive, 2-3 times more than aseteks own wheel.

Wow.. wow.. wow.. wow.. this is next level (sorry, NL is a reserved mark for someone else, let's call this, "upcoming level", "future level"). Asetek seems to be having many good ideas in the future. I wish them luck. Please more videos of quick looks like this one but also more in depth reviews, most importantly motion sims, thanks, because all we get to see usually is kids sitting in motion rigs playing but giving us zero useful information.

Asetek Forte is trash, i had them! This company did good marketing but nothing more!

Yes, they did very good job selling the travel based pedals as a really high end LC set of pedals. But from all of the reviews Dan Suzuki was the only one who caught this caveat and said anything about it. They basically use a very small LC element at the end and instead of the spacer and elastomer pack pushing directly at the LC element, it is actually pushing on an aluminium block, and only through the centre where that main axle that holds the elastomers is located, they put a spring at the end of that axle. And then, that spring based on the pedal travel and compression then presses on the LC element.

😝You're right, a lot of marketing and nothing more... The Supposed ABS is a simple motor with a weight on the axle and a button on the pedal, it's been more than 5 years since I removed that motor from my pedal board...
