Hey John, love the way you race. Just having fun amongst the chaos, like me. I got a podium in my first ever LFM race yesterday! Mostly luck, and a bit of strong defence. Loved every second. Here is a tip for the MX5 on AC that I don't think you have turned on. (if you do, sorry I am mistaken) On the AC content manager launch screen that LFM loads (the one that requires the password), down the bottom left corner there is the "Assists" button. Click that to open the dialogue box. Check the boxes for "autoblip" and "auto clutch" which are allowed by LFM. This essentially turns the 5-speed H-pattern to a 5-speed sequential. You should do it for all H-pattern cars. It should gain you more laptime as you will have much better control in the braking zone. Also, first port of call with the setup is the tyre pressures. You want to set them so that the psi of all tyres after a few laps sits on 26 - 27 psi. The four psi numbers on your tyre graphic will turn green. This maximises tyre contact and therefore grip. Don't be afraid of setting the psi high out of the pits, or setting each tyre individually, as they will cool down after a lap or so. The goal is to have them all sitting on the same number for the entire race. You will have to adjust them a bit depending on the track surface temperature. Maybe I'll see you on track one day. Happy racing!

@brendanariki, thank for sharing the assists , the gears are so much quicker to change with the autoblip and auto clutch, I'm struggling to get all my tyres in the green though 👍

I just drove some laps with TC and abs on factory in Hockenheim and my best lap in 5 or 6 laps was a 2:04.5. but I am much more ruthless on the brake and I. The corners. Tomorrow I drive the circuit for some laps without any assists and get a comparison

Always worth trying different things to see how you get on 👍🏻

Have you been able to figure out how to get the right tires to warm up? Im scared to mess with the setup since the balance feels good as is

To be honest, I haven't had the spare time to try anything like that yet. The only thing I have been adjusting is fuel levels.
