아스트로 Astro - Again & Crazy Sexy Cool | Reaction (Road to Aroha Pt3)

Everyone was confused that there was no MV for Again, but the choreo for it is super amazing, for reals. Crazy Sexy Cool is such a good song! That's kind of when Astro started to hit their more mature sound (Rocky and Sanha were still in high school). Also at the end of the MV, the security guard was Jinjin and the girl behind the sheet blowing kisses was actually MJ. The Korean title of Crazy Sexy Cool translates approximately to ''you blow over to me" (like someone drifting toward you on a breeze) hence the blowing kisses at the camera at the end and in choreo. Jinjin and Rocky are hella good rappers and can spit fire when the song calls for it (you will see when you get to One), but their more melodic or emotional rap style is really good. It's been fun watching along! Their next title song is Always You, but it has no actual dance practice, just a dance cut from the MV, which is the reverse of Again, and also kind of a tragedy for fans, because the choreo is amazing.

I believe next will be Always You and All Night 💜 Always You only have MV, no dance practice but it has dance performance vid. And All night, for me, is the QUEEN of all Astro's MV, it has dance practice and tons of special dance practice 😂

The pirouettes in 'Again' blow everyone away. So glad you caught them. Since 'Again' is currently your favorite you want to check out the dance break in it with Rocky & Moonbin at the Japan Mcountdown here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nGayo3Wfoa5qiac 'Crazy, Sexy, Cool' is such a trick to reactors and new listeners who don't know Astro at all. A title like that you think it is going to be over the top sexy with outfits and moves but nope! The vibe I think can be best describe it is High School talent show. They are cheeky enough to make you laugh at the small smexy things they do such as the chorus move, the back bends etc. but well within school administrative guidelines not to get them in trouble or make the adults uncomfortable yet you enjoy it and want to watch/listen repeatedly. Next on your journey is the Rise Up ep. Long story short: their company went through a crisis and the big pause button was put on Astro. They were pretty much radio silent for 8 months, many fans left, those who remained were on edge but hopeful and then this appeared. The title track is "Always You' and is a message to all Arohas who stayed with them during the crisis and is very emotional. The M/V hits hard, even for Arohas who hadn't found Astro yet at that time but know the history. There is no dance practice but there is a dance cut of Rocky, Moonbin and Jinjin. The comeback stage for MCountdown is the best live performance of it to see the choreo but pretty sure a KZbin reaction of it will be blocked. Also with Rise Up comes 'Call Out' or 'Wachinda'. You must watch that M/V and again no dance practice. It is a DDOCA MV which is there vlog camera. It is filmed by them behind the scenes of their 2nd Astroad Concert when they came off their unexpected hiatus. It showcases their duality perfectly; crazy crackheaded dorks to smoking hot idols. This is the Encore Anthem for Arohas and Astro. At the end of every concert now, they sing this and encore this. Their SF concert in 2019 they did it 15 times! Every Arohas dream is to be part of the purple sea participating in Wachinda.

Again is such a good song and even if there is no MV they have performed it many times on stage and I have watched all of them:) In the future you will see their more mature style with Blue Flame or One. But even when they do harder concepts they still do it in their own way. They never stop being Astro and that's why we love them.

Thank you so much for your reaction!! 'Again' was one of the first few songs I heard of ASTRO after discovering them. It instantly became my favorite after hearing it along with the dance practice and nothing has been able to overtake its #1 position yet. When they debuted, the maknae was 17yo (KA), and is the reason they went with a bright fresh concept and kept it for a while. 'Again' wasn't promoted because it didn't go along with that bright concept since they came back with 'Baby' a couple months after. ASTRO themselves even admit now that they wished they could have promoted it. I think if they ever get a chance to do a repackage it'd be fun to do it for that album. Basically, as the maknae comes of age, so does their music. Crazy Sexy Cool was the first step into that, and you'll start seeing more music and concepts like that from now on. Crazy Sexy Cool was also their last comeback before their company entered its dark times. Remember the styling of the music videos you just watched, and watch how it changes as you watch 'Always You', and then again to 'All Night'. 'Always You' will be the last MV to not have an actual dance practice. The one on ASTRO's site is only a portion of the dance an only includes the 3 members on the dance line. It's so nice that you started their discography from the start. If you noticed, they started so young that is why their music are so cute and refreshing. The maknae was just 16 years old. They were also named as the Refreshing Idols because of their genre. Crazy Sexy Cool was the start of the maturity and sexy approach in their discography. If you want to hear more emotional raps, ASTRO rap line is the best in that area. Try to hear their b-sides, especially ballads. You will hear more of that emotional raps. Again does not have an MV because the album was just a special released album part of their Seasoned Album: Spring Up (HIde and Seek title track), Summer Vibes (Breathless title track), Autumn Story (Confession Title track), and Winter Dream (Again title track). Again was one of the hardest choreo of them i think and the spins, so satisfying. Glad you love it. Its from a special album Winter dream, rumored said they made a MV but since its not in line with Astro's concept, they dropped it. But they performed it on different shows.

Again is one of my favorites, too, and it's mildly criminal that it didn't get its own MV, but I'm glad they gave us such a phenomenal dance and those iconic spins by both Rocky (well-known for them) and, unexpectedly, Moonbin! So good. Crazy Sexy Cool seemed to mark the production quality changing for them. I think it was really the first one that got some real dollars behind it (and then everything got shaken up with management company difficulties before settling), and it showed. Still, the choreo for CSC was so good, the flowers at the beginning (bud-stage) and end (opened) are just wonderful visuals. Glad you enjoyed these!

En los comentarios te han hecho muy buenas sugerencias. La música de estos chicos no tienen una estructura común, y definitivamente no suenan como los otros grupos. Este grupo es único en su propio estilo. Además sus voces son algo que siempre te llega a tocar profundo, y sus coreografías son algo también único. No son solo pasos, sino poesía en movimiento que complementan las canciones, prácticamente, de forma perfecta. El pertenecer a una empresa de actuación y el background de baile de la mayoría de ellos se puede sentir en sus coreografías y sus presentaciones. Cuando iniciaron ya eran muy buenos, pero, conforme avances en el trabajo de estos hombres, verás una evolución donde prácticamente pueden realizar cualquier tipo de concepto, no solo el cute. No sólo los title tracks , sino también los bsides son excelentes, y algunos también tienen sus dance practices sin MVs. Astro no se pueden comparar con los otros grupos, quizá el pertenecer a una compañía pequeña los hace un poco más libres y un poco más arriesgados. También han hecho covers musicales y de baile de otros grupos que son muy buenos, donde no son solo coplas, sino que siempre les imprimen un estilo muy propio, y OSTs de series y mangas que podrían llamarte la atención. Soy una Aroha orgullosa, qué más puedo decir, amo su trabajo y sus personalidades. 💜⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💜
