Airline is used in general terms cuz there are different categories of illegal stuffs some are to be handed over to custom officers, some to anti narcotics such as drugs. Custom officer ANF officer and ASF officer are all present there.

After 1983 it was placed under the defense ministry and now it is working under the aviation ministry. Magar ab bhi there are certain exceptions in the act there such as for the purpose of defense. Han agar ajaye ab then now it is in every mcq AVIATION MINISTRY.

Don't know that much. Han yeh pata hai kay Aerodromes, Air Side and related facilities are under the control of ASF. Plus in the watch also ASF officers are on duty so, may be the MCQ is right.
