The part where Jordan remembered the Jaclyn pallet more than you!!! Hahaha that’s the sweetest thing ever. Y’all are awesome 😂❤

im freshly 19 but I’ve been watching y’all for a while now, and I have to say, the wisdom you two hold is beautiful. I am always looking to learn and apply, from marriage to kids to modesty, and the Lord has truly breathed revelation through you two. I’m thankful that Jesus has saved me young because He has such ordained and oriented followers like you two to guide others. Thank y’all so much!❤

Haven’t even started it yet but I’m about to! I know this will be edifying. I just got married so any biblical talk about marriage, I’m all ears! Love yall!

Have you read The Marriage Book by Nicky and Sila Lee? I picked it up at a book barn when I was engaged and it definitely shook out some worldly views I had 🫶🏼 praying for a wonderful, loving, life giving and life filling marriage ❤

@lisette457 , Congratulations and blessing for long and prosperous life together! I hope Elena and Jordan will not mind, but in the Spirit, I feel compelled to also share another podcast that the missus and I have found very fruitful in our own marriage. It's called "Doing Life with Ken and Tabitha" ( www.youtube.com/@Doinglifewithkenandtabatha/videos ). Not sure about you, but we find a lot of time in the day where there's room for a good word for the Glory of God and his wishes for us in our covenant as couples with Him (For as it is written: "...a threefold cord is not quickly broken." - Ecclesiastes 4:12 (ESV)). We usually share an AirPod around the house while doing chores etc, lol! Best of luck again!!!

I loved this episode. I didn’t realize how much I wasn’t serving my husband in our marriage. This was such a GREAT reminder! God bless y’all!

Oh my goodness please make the part about taking interest in your spouse’s favorite activity(ies) being a game changer & fulfilling the love languages into a reel!! So good! This whole thing is so good. And the 7 week challenge 🔥 But that’s a practical thing even non-believers might be able to align with easily!! 🙏🔺

Thank you for sharing you guys. So nuch Biblically sound truth here. I just wanted to testify that I had a hard night with my spouse last night. This morning, after finishing this video, i have purposed to find ways to honor and love and respect my husband today for no other reason than to bring God glory and to build up my spouse. Thank you. God has softened my heart after this. ❤

My husband is Kenyan and we have had many conversations about “what makes you married” because in Africa they do it differently and less state-official. The covenant & commitment of marriage relationship is held much more highly than a marriage certificate although for me that was a brand new idea to not even pursue an official marriage certificate. New perspective

My husband and I got married during Covid (we originally were planning a big wedding because that’s what felt expected of us, but we wished we could do it small lol then Covid happened) just our parents, some of our siblings (others live states away) and my grandparents and photographer, 12 people total 🥲 it was the prettiest spring day, I had a gorgeous simple dress I think the tag price was $200 at David’s so nothing insane originally. We did it outside, took the family photos, took couple photos, and did a home photoshoot with, and my grandpa (a pastor for 40ish years I’m pretty sure) always says how special ours felt because it was just about us wanting to be married and not the wedding 🥲🥲🥲 it was literally perfect

That’s an extremely important lesson to learn: never do anything because it’s expected of you. Always do what’s right if it’s a moral issue but when it’s not (for example.. wedding size) always do what’s right for you as a couple/ family (later on)

In regard to the gift giving one that Jordan was talking about, you can always get a custom gift related to something he really likes. Rather than getting new golf clubs, get a custom golf club patch for his bag or something like that. I've done that for my husband because he has pretty niche interests and he loves it! Then I don't have to worry about spending a bunch of money and getting it wrong lol

I can’t remember which video it was in and I would love to purchase it. Thank you so much and blessings for your family.

Communicate about what we're trying to improve about ourselves and encourage one another to continue with those healthier habits, communicate about feelings and things we're experiencing in everyday life, communicate about our dreams and goals and keeping the Lord in the center of our trust that all things in the future will work out for our good, communication at the end of the day keeps us strong!

The world defines marriage as a wedding, but the Bible defines marriage as unity. My husband and I married at 20 but didn’t not have a wedding celebration. We are legally married by law through the court, but we have more unity now ten years later with two kids than we did back then. The world sees two people coming together to make a pair, but God puts two halves together to make a whole ❤
