Well you obviously ain't an original "ASH" fan.. plastic.. jump on anything my pal's like.. one word for you "cough" and Tim Wh'r is the most down to earth chap I have met ( and I've met some twats Squire, G' bro's.. p. s. dragged there!) .. he's a proper muso' , influences from the Velvet Underground, Vaselines, and that's the very tip of his iceberg, "Islands" nailed Hatherley.. she rode the wave.. met her once.. honestly.. The most pretentious.. aloof, ha! I have the photos and all my friends Totally agreed ( on her look at her getup.. OTT!), BUT as a guitarist she did compliment the band! Then fkd off .. bitchstardo! Stroll on boy's, Aberdeen and Scotland are wi you.. forever keep going with the "Nu clear sounds!!! FKN A!!! &$$&++!!!!"

Very good, this be the most recent concert ive seen on here with fans in. Saw ash at darlington in 2009, the band often do towns/venues that dont really see touring bands. Ash really do things for the fans

I used to watch them back in the 90s when they had done the mini album Trailer and their official debut album 1997 - I saw them at this venue in Kentish Town and managed to gate the after show party.. Oh boy did we very drunk that night.. I ended up asleep on a bus in a bus station... It was such a shame they rushed out that dog of album Nu Clear Sounds for they needed more time to get some more quality songs together but ended up being victims of bad record management but hey ho they were only kids back then..

Amazing they're still going, but to me were never the same band after Charlotte left; always loved her guitar parts and integral backing vocals, they found an absolute gem of a musician who fit their sound perfectly...and let her go. It's telling that they haven't had any commercial success since, and are still playing mainly the old songs.

Charlotte joined after they started and they had huge success with 1977 before her, they have had sucsess with there last few albums and sell out tours since she left and it's not all old songs either there set list is maybe 5 -7 songs off the new album and the rest is made up of older songs and the classics which is what nearly every band does. So your wrong on all points.

Ash lost it after 1977, there was a couple of good songs on nuclear sounds but each album got worst. I wish they made more weirder sounding music after 1977 like that very good b side 5am Eternal.

Another great gig by ash, until today I had never seen a good live performance by one of my fave 90's - 2000's indie bands, have 3 albums but live performances I was disappointed with, but this and Tokyo blitz video has changed my opinion, I think Tim is underrated as a songwriter think he was a teenager when they first cd. Came out ?

I think Wheelers voice has gotten better over the years. They’re songs are hard to sing in the correct tempo. Oh yeah for example is meant to sound kind of out of tune anyway.
