1:23 the number of times we see you lose a champion reminds me of one of my biggest bugbears about the champion list, no search field, think how lovely it would be to go im looking for Diabolist, so you click on the search box and start typing in Dia and there she is. ied also love this for the gear list, been able to tick a box that says only show me common gear or only show me 6 star gear.

She works perfectly well with Candraphon is a speed team with two TM boosters. Her A3 triggers Candraphon's passive so he places a vail on himself for more damage, thus no need for the vail champs.

Hey Ash, thanks for mixing it up in terms of content. For champion guides what would be really cool would be to first see a run without the champion in question (this time Diabolist) and then see a run where you sub in the champion and how it changes the team end result. When you just see a the champion in a team it's difficult to gauge how much of the success is down to the champion in question. I get it's probably a hassle to set up that story line, but would be really nice if possible once in a while. Thanks for all the great content and enthusiasm!

At the higher levels of Ice Golem, she'll need a Lifesteal set. Otherwise, she'll die before the Golem is defeated.

I didn't even think about accuracy until you made a point of her A3. My Diabolist has been level 50 for a long time, but she may well be worth levelling for Faction Wars one day (I currently use her in my team, but she's not fantastic at level 50). Or, she may have a place in the Doom Tower. ;)

So I got my first (second and third) Diabolist yesterday... I've been running with Spirithost instead (pretty nice attack buff) But I'm getting High Katuhn tomorrow, so I'm pretty excited to focus on her instead.

Don't know if it's been said before but I'm surprised you didn't use a Perception set on the gloves and chest; you'd get the same +40 accuracy but with an additional 5% set bonus as well.

Love the video, I used to use Diabolist before I got High Khatun. Definitely an amazing rare champion for speed and turn meter manipulation. Oh and could you lock your Diabolist? Would make me less nervous👍

If you don't have a spare Apothecary, you can use Diabolist as a substitute speed champ for one of your teams in the tag team arena as I do.

i didnt get apothacary untill late and diabolist had a spot on all my teams early game. Even in arena she helped me beat some teams :) She is left at 50 for me but it has been a close call for her getting to 6star a few times. I love her!

Used her literally everywhere. Now I have many champs, but still use her on 3v3 Arena for my attack team (it's a shame her AI is broken and I can't use for defense) and of course in FW. I have Apothecary, but he doesn't feat to any of my teams except for FW, I haven't even 6-stared him. He is no good on Arena because his TM boost is only 15%, to low for anything at Gold arena. Mine Diabolist has masteries in DEF and Support, built her in high HP so she takes part of the damage for the team.

diabolist is fairly decent, the main issue with her honestly is that high khatun is pretty much the same kit only better, and everyone gets her for free at 30 days.

Diabolist is easier to book, and she's great for faction wars. She and High Khatun both have a pretty solid case for taking a spot in anyone's Demonspawn and Barbarian teams.

Plus you can use diabolist in tag team arena if your short on a speed champ. Especially if you're f2p.

A great speed champ for those who don't have an apothecary and don't want to sink books into High Khatun! Been using her since I started. Biggest issue is definitely her lacking defense - and the fact that her odd turn rotation (3-turn CD and 4-turn CD moves, with the former being prioritized) makes it so you can't really speed tune around her.

Why use Accuracy set when we have Perception sets? Same bonus unless I am wrong to accuracy (40) Only difference is you get more speed with Perception.

I use a lot diabolist, the think is that I don’t have the best gear for her, I build her with a lot of defense and resistance, but cannot find good accuracy for her :( Thanks for the video!!!! :)

Ash, I’ve been playing about 40 days now and I certainly enjoy your videos. They are a bit unrealistic in that u have her at 50k power when someone where I am at who happens to have all the champions are sitting at 15-25k power. So making it to level 20 in these dungeons seems unrealistic. I’ve been binge watching ur content to improve game performance. Limited by mostly f2p and limited resources in books. Gear. Energy. Coins. As always though much love n hugz.

Watched to see if she started with her A2 or A3. Mine keeps starting with her A2 even when there's already a speed buff on the whole team. Was trying to use her in arena to make speed tuning easier but I guess I can't auto or use her in the defense team

Mine is only level 40 atm, just because i do that to all the farmable rares. Only problem I have, is time actually. I have more energy than I can spend in the time I have available to play so I have a huge backlog of champs to 6*, including some decent legos and really good epics.

Am I wrong to pick this champ over High Katun? Here are my thoughts. I don't want to invest the time and books into high katun when Booking, 6 starring and ascending Diabolist is so much easier. I'd prefer to save my epic books for a creature that can't be replaced by a rare at all. Is my thinking correct on this? I'm new to the game!

Farmable my butt. Been farming Brimstone path for a week now. No sign of any rare. I only got crappy curing artifacts and the uncommon guy. I really wished there was a visible drop rate for these rare champs.

Always been wondering if you can share any tips of getting legendary books in this game besides spending big fat cash for it. I'm currently 3 key NM so don't know what it is like from the UNM chest, do you get leggo books a lot? I'm not even exciting to pull leggo because I have no books for them :/

I agree. I've been playing for about eight months and only have one Legendary (Zavia). I'm pretty much free to play, with the exception of buying the gem pack that adds gems every day for a month. I still need one more Leggo skill book to have her fully booked. My next Legendary is going to be tough to book.

I have fed literally dozens of diabolists, based largely on the fact that she drops in the best xp farming level in the game. you will always wind up with diabolists coming out your ears.

In my opinion, for F2P players is better invest resources to _High Khatun_ with great universal +19% speed aura, better base stats a much better A1 compare with _Diabolist_ High Khatun was my _speed leader_ through all content, before I recived _Duchess Lilitu_ ❤️ which with _Apothecary_ solved almost all level 20 dungeons. In the game is few heroes with +SPD% aura to all battles _(without affinity restriction)_ , HK worth for level up. Without luck on Duchess, I guess she would be still in my team. Only one case what I considering, is leveling up Diabolist for faction wars, because Demonspawn have only few supports and she is only one turn meter filler and SPD buffer.

High khatun 100% for arena because of the aura and the speed+TM boost are combined, but booking her out is more difficult for TM control and overall utility in dungeons. Since HK is solely your speed booster, which she does a great job of, 40 is fine for her, just put your fastest gear on HK. If you are lacking control in dungeons, then invest it in diabolist as you waste no books and get the job done until you get a better champ for TM/ speed control.

I'll think about leveling her up for faction wars, in ice Golem I have a team with scyl, miscreated monster, apothecary, tyrant and ghostborn, and even with championship like that there are moments when I barely pass the dungeon :))

If the ice Golem hits you when both minions are alive, your whole team can die :))) And the reflect damage on the second wave can also be really dangerous.

Diabolist is decent and quite good for faction wars but if it wasn't because of faction wars, i would advise against 6 starring her. As some have already stated, the main problem with her is that she gets outshined by High Khatun who everyone gets for free for playing for the first month. Also, because it's the first month, most people should be focusing on a campaign farmer/starter champ rather than Diabolist who ends up getting replaced. I'm preaching to the choir but you yourself have made videos about which champion to focus on and the questions you ask yourself and Diabolist does not meet the criteria of "How long will I use this champion?" because the answer is not very long. I see little reason to use her after you obtain High Khatun.

I have "better" heroes hut can't get close to any Level 20 dungeons - getting blue 6-star gear (let alone full sets with the appropriate main stats) seems impossible. Grinding level 15 dungeons I'm getting maybe 1 or 2 6-star items per 100 energy, and of those, 2/3rds are from sets that no one really uses, 75% have a bad main stat, and half are grey rarity. So it's more like 1000 energy = 1 gear piece. And I need 30 gear pieces for an entire team. That'll take me a month at minimum of non-stop grinding! How does anyone do it?

Ash what use are mystery shards haven’t really opened any since I started the game about 100 days ago. I get some many dupes and rares from my ancient shards that I think mystery shards are pointless for leveling up or food! Tell Plarium that they should remove it from the game or allow us to trade for coins or other shards, etc.
