This was incredibly helpful! My biggest set back is my emotions. As a person with ADHD I chemically wired for impulsivity. But I'm determined to overcome that struggle. Thank you for sharing your journey so that the rest of us could learn from it. And thank you to TTrades for seeking great content for the community of ICT traders.

His suggestion to have a clear cut set of time & price based rules that you look for. Basically remove as much on the spot decision making as you can out of the process. Then execute your model like a computer would execute a line of code: if this then that. My logic is that I am attempting to make more decisions than my brain can handle before exhaustion which leads to bad decisions.@@ExploreFreedomTv

During my early days in 2022, I had refined my strategy to breaker model and propulsion block through ICT's core content. After seeing 2 of your videos on it, I found out that an FVG created using displacement was important. Then from Matt, I learned about FVG aligned with the highest up closed candle before the leg down that takes the liquidity in bullish conditions (vice-versa for bearish conditions). This was the real gamechanger along with Timeframe alignment. ICT is right. This model is a model in itself. Very thankful to both of you and ICT 👍👍

If I were to critique anything, it seemed drawn out at times, but I listened to everything he had to say. Very nice content. Beeing more mechanical will help me a lot. I also note this is actually similar with the order block (the breaker becomes the OB), if you put a standard deviation on it with 2 to 2.5 TP, the stop below the breaker is a good location. Will backtest it! Breakers happen on many timeframes and scales, it's one of my latest discoveries to make good /better use of them in the ICT models. So this comes handy. Thank you TT and Ash!

You can increase your winnings by taking that great entry and making your exit like a turtle trader. If my entry is in 5 min. The center of donchian at 5 min I trail stop. It is way further back than your original stop so it takes a while in profit well past 2r to move it forward. But if you Take that BB and measure out 4 standard deviations and put your take profit there, then manually trail by the 5min donchian. Days that you expect to move you can go 5 or even 10 r. You will end up a lot of times with runners that run and return back to 2 r or go real far and come back to donchain and knock you out at 5r. But many big runners that make it worth it. If you are as unemotional as you say, when it retraces back, you can add once 1/2 again of your position pyramiding in as long as the position of your stop loss and the new break even from that add doesn’t add to your original risk.
@essendavis8 ай бұрын
Ict pyramids in aggressively on retracements but does so only on the proper side of premium/discount of the daily range. He then scales out at each target pd array on the other side. Allowing the whole position to run really far even to daily close time and price to retrace deep and be only invalidated by a close on the other side of trailing 5 min donchian or coming back to your 2r line would allow a way for you to increase your profits without increasing your risk. Same with adding pyramiding, when done right in small increments with OTE entries on 50 percent fib or fvg on your already open position, it increases profit without ever putting more at risk than your original risk, (I like to miss the first one and pyramid the second to be able to have my stop lock in my 2r because it also counts 1.5 -2 more going backwards once you pyramid.
