In my opinion this was the best battle Ash ever had in Unova. Not because he won, of course, because he had more Pokemons than her, but because of creativity. Whenever Ash switched Pokémon it was all epic Anyway hopefully the creator launches more Ash battles in Unova

This was a good AMV and Battle and Roxie seamed the most nicest Female Gym Leader of Unova as she gave Pignite a Berry to neutralise its Poison before Sending Her Garboder and then Give Pikachu a Berry at the end of the battle after Ash won especially for a Poison type trainer like you would’ve expected a trainer like that be a Toxic Person.

Its not really making him a noob. Its more like proving how capable roxie is as the last gym leader to fight before the conference. Allowing a full team against only three aces only means that she is pretty confident about her expertise. Ash also quite did logically fine in this battle anyways and is far better compared to his other battles in unova, the only downside is always his palpitoad which is always used and prepared to be a counter like how he brought it here against a poison type gym and how he tried to use it against elesa but always failed miserably. That thing is just hopeless and doesn't feel like something ash is supposed to own ngl.

I think it's because they wanted to try to squeeze her into the series at some point, but didn't know where else in the story to put her since Ash was already well past his second gym by that point, so they just made her a lot stronger to compensate
