Another sad battle... the only equally thrilling battle was between gengar and cradilly. Especially I disliked how dracovish lost...and the mega metagross that took a super effective blast burn from a mega Charizard and stood still lost to a 10 million volts thunderbolt and iron tail ?

The battle was really hype at first, especially after Chesnaught vs Rillaboom, but as soon as Malamar got one-shotted, it went down the drain. Arguably a Top 3 strongest Pokemon in the entire anime went down in 1-2 hits from a base Charizard in about a minute. Unacceptable.

Well let’s see. Pikachu has a history of defeating other Metagross for one thing already. As for 10 million volt thunderbolt, how about the fact it not only overpowered Tapu Koko’s own Z move, it took him out to despite the fact that Tapu Koko is an electric type itself? What about the fact that the Z move is so powerful that a motor drive from Electivire, one of the anime’s most potent electric type users, couldn’t take it? If anyone has plot armor, it’s Metagross from the fact it still needed another attack to go down.
