Asha Amardhan

This short film, as an episode, titled Asha Amardhan is part of a 10 episode TV serial-Bijji Ka Khazana, produced for the Prasar Bharati, Jaipur DD Centre. This TV film is based on a powerful and touching short story written by Vijaydan Detha, the legendary storyteller of Rajasthan. Detha's contribution to Indian Language literature is incredible. Originally the base narrative has been part of folklore telling about a moving tale of a poor farmer's family caught under a years-long famine in a small village.
