Ah, it's always a pleasure to return to songs in one's mother tongue and Bengali is such a sweet language! Wish the lyrics were by someone accomplished (Gauriprasanna Majumdar / at least, Mukul Dutta), though Swapan Chakraborty manages a face saver of sorts in "Kiney De Reshmi Churi". This song enjoyed such a massive popularity in the late '70s & '80s. Thank you very much, Atanu-da, for these beauties. Will be awating "Bolo Ki Achhe go". All the four songs in this Puja album illustrates the unique versatility of Panchamda. From the classical Bolo ki Ache go rendered mellifluously by Panchamda himself based on Raag Kalavati , the gypsy genre , Sono mon boli tomay with unique violin serenade and rhythmic formats, the very Bengali folk, Kine de reshmi churi with ektara and the typical Panchamda improvisations in Jhum Jhum Jhum , rat nijhum. Bahut hi piyaara gaana, jisei Ashaji ne apni madhur awaaz mein gaakar aur bhi mishti kar diya... Lyrics jiyada samajh to nahin aaye, par kaanon mein badee madhur dhwani sunaayi de rahi thi ...Mann prasann ho gaya sunn kar....Shukriya, itna khubsurat Bengali gaana upload karne ke liye.! ..Shubh kaamnaayein.! 👍🙏..

Both the songs in Hindi version were also superb 👌👍. One thing to be noted in most Bengali puja songs “Sapan Chakrabarty “ lyrics were there. He was a precious gem 💎 in Panchamda’s navratna “, who not only assisted in music arrangements , sang a few numbers but also wrote Pooja songs in Bengali. Hats off to him 👍
