I can’t believe they made a portable pocket amp and didn’t include a feature on it to connect to an iPhone for video/audio recording, in this day and age where people are using their phones to shoot videos everywhere that would have been a steal if they can include that in an update.

Looks like another fantastic addition to the few good headphone amps out there. A shame it sounds slightly cold, or thin, compared to that signature ashdown flavor.

Rushed and incomplete review. How long does it take to charge? There doesn’t seem to be an input pad for high-output basses- does it have a lot of headroom? The EQ doesn’t seem to have much effect- is it as weak as it seems? Will the line out drive a typical powered PA cab to full output? How does the preamp sound in the effects loop of a regular bass head, to bring the “Ashdown sound” to other bass amps? What do you do with the 12v input- is there a car adapter available? The Ashdown website is equally frustrating. No user manual, no specs...
