Jesus, Ashe, as soon as I heard your voice come on, tears started dripping down my face. This song itself is already very bittersweet, but the feels I get while listening to it are much stronger knowing that my ex used to sing this to me and it was “our song.” He was my rock but he used and abused me, and I was too naive to realize it until it was too late... I’ll always hate him for what he did to me, but I miss the good times we had together, and the warm safe feeling of knowing someone loved me like that, even if it wasn’t true... Doesn’t help that your singing voice sounds almost exactly like his 💔 thank you for giving your viewers this musical gift, Ashe, it means so much to me 💗
