The writers done him so dirty in season 6. He was the only one in the keating 5 who had positive vibes all the time and in season 6 they just made him look like he was depressed all the time

It's called character devlopement. His dad commit suicide, his mother was on the verge of suicide and the FBI were hassling him and threatening to put his mom into jail if he didn't cooperate. So yeah, Season 6 Asher Changed a lot.

In the beginning Asher was kind of annoying but as the story continued he grew on you. Now him as a boyfriend I would love him. He's funny , kind of dopey on the outside but actually smart. Also being with michaela really humbled him and made him grow up. I was sad when he died.

Ughhh tbh, he was one of the character with the greatest growth in the entire series. While the others were going around still running around, trying to solve their traumas by blaming on others, Asher actually grew from it. He was such a typical annoying fratboy in ss1, but then he became the literal glue of the group, overcame his own prejudice, brought some relief into their lives despite his trauma too and he got the ending like that?? 😢

Asher plays a big part to how the series ends. He was more than just a comedic relief, the show exhibits Ashers emotions later part, how he would choose his family over anything. Sad how his fate was ill, that he his life ended that way. It was no one's fault and it was just awful KSKSKSKSK
