Main thing the Swine Twirler adds for Kin is a gun that has burning built in so Ophelia's tar bomb upgrade can hit the extra damage more easily. Squish & Squash have a cute interaction with shielded and Sparks. The bonus action isn't once per activation or turn; she can do it as many times as she has health, so long as someone is next to the target she can turn all the shielded into damage. Without it, she can still cross the board pretty nicely with the right setup. Hog Oil Salesman can give out a bit more shielded for the above combo. I agree he probably dies pretty fast if he's drawing fire, though. Always funny to see different takes because the Kin set were the ones I thought looked most obviously powerful and synergistic with both keywords - my main irritation being the inconsistently applied keyword mechanics (flinch and TBTA)

LOVE the Bayou in this book! Mainly the tri chi additions. Something I feel like was missed with Hopscotch though is that his Bad Trip trigger pulsing out 1 damage also hits him so it triggers Mithridatism for a few poison and glowy. It's a small thing but it means that Magical Influence into a crow for Sticky Tongue pays for itself.

I like most of the stuff we got in Bayou but it's a real shame that their thought philosophy for Kin models is "Eh, whatever." I really hope they do a big ol' rework of the Kin keyword, Big hat style.

Sam Barrows is a top player globally and is also one of the best Bayou players in the world 🌎 currently, your comment is pretty off-base here. He's also the single strongest player on the founding team of Danger Planet and taught Doug and Brandon how to play Malifaux. Not many players out there are even close to his skill level frankly.
