As a Macross fan since the late 80's and avid model builder, something like this was the thing of dreams. Youve executed it so well, so perfectly and so creatively. Knowing the things needed to pull this off and pull it off as well as you have is truly awe inspiring. Truly. You are a gift to the Macross fan community. This is truly amazing work, both in terms of modelling, and also the electronics and microcontroller programming. I looked at your blog but I don't know Japanese, I assume you are using an ESP32 as the main controller with several ATTINY85 as the controller for sub-assemblies (engines, cockpit, etc.)? It would have been perfect if you can also make the wing pylons counter-rotate at the same time as the wings are sweeping.

Robotech was a derivative work spliced together from films by Tatsunoko Productions, but what was worse was that the agreement forbade the Macross copyright holders, Big West and Shoji Kawamori, from doing business outside of Japan. The "exclusivity agreement," signed by Tatsunoko Productions for 6 million yen, less than the equivalent of three Toyota Camry cars at the time, continued to infringe on Kawamori's rights for 40 years. I consider this to be piracy and cultural theft.

Totally Awesome !!! Just amazing build, dude... I've been a Gunpla & Macross model builder since 2008 and I often do LED's, multi kit battle diorama's with battle damage and other customizations (like many other builders out there), but, like someone else commented here, this build is truly, "Next Level"... actually, if there was an example of next level, this would be a few more levels above that... LOL... I don't even have the words to explain how cool, how much I like it and the total respect I have for you and your ability and talent to build something like this... I really doubt I could even come close but you've totally raised the bar and have given me some great ideas for my future builds... you've shown me it's possible to build the impossible... again, just an incredible build!!! I can't wait to see what's next... cheers!!

俺も一応定期購読で全巻揃えたんだけど、最初の方の数巻迄作って挫折しました(笑)。 殆ど組んで無いまま箱だけ山積み状態。 定期購読特典のディスプレイケースも届いたんだけど、ディスプレイケースの大きさでこのバルキリーの完成時の大きさが理解出来たので、その巨大さに驚愕してしまいました。 当初はノーマル状態の再現迄でファストパックは出ない予定が途中で出る事になり更に驚愕。 これをファストパック装着の状態迄きっちり完成させたあなたは凄いと思います。 正直言って称賛に値します。

I just watched the video again, (actually I've watched it few more times than just twice), and how you have all the HUD touch screen displays, including the tiny one in the model Valkyrie's cockpit , all synchronized with each other, as well as with the automated movements and lights of model... is beyond words... I'm not exaggerating when I say it makes my brain hurt just thinking of how you did all of it, again, just an incredible build!!! Thanx man, for sharing this project with us all!!! BTW: I'm not sure if I just missed but, which Valkyrie VF-1 & Super-Parts model kit did you use and what scale is it, Thanx, again

コンソールのライティングがすごく手が混んでていいですね。 　 しかし機体のコクピットといい、操作用コクピットといい、作り込まれていてすごいですね。 esp32 x 2 , Nano での動作はスケッチ書くだけでもめげそうな量ですね。すごいです。

大量に使われてますね。驚きです。 イチ動作ごと、例えばスロットル用に一つとか言う配置なのでしょうか？ HP見せていただきましたが、全体回路図？ブロック図が見当たりませんでした。 ほぼほぼI2cで一部シリアルなだけで、もしかして全CPUはネットされてるのですか？ マクロス的にもすごいけど、電子工作としてもすごくないですか？？ 世の中には変な人がまだまだいるんで楽しいです《失礼！）

Wow...I have to agree with some of the previous comments, this transcends next level in so many ways. I dabble in many of the crafts so expertly on display here but this is simply awe inspiring. So. Many. Things. I was convinced this was some high end commercial toy until I read the comments, I'm gob struck this is a fan build. The graphics, the synchronization, the sfx, lighting, connectivity, the MODEL, the animatronics, the sound system, the themed GUI, timing, menus, vectored thrust, landing gear, canopy, just freaking wow.
