Evan, I have been "guilty "many times in the past to mention getting our Queen Ashemeza Rita an engagement ring. The key reason is asking if you are ready to make a commitment. Being officially committed does not mean one has to get married tomorrow. An affordable ring can always be upgraded in the future. The money part of Life is very simple. The Lord ALWAYS provides a path to earn and to provide for our families. The key is our FAITH. When we give something to the Lord to handle it must be with 100 % FAITH. We cannot take even 1 % back to try to handle ourselves. We will mess it up. You must run your own races. The most successful runners have a great support crew. I truly feel like you both are family. I love that Bible verse because it connects to what you guys have discussed with us today. We have to patiently wait on God in areas like marriage because his timing is the best. To me knowing dat ur ready for marriage these things shouldn't miss out e.g1. being loyal; learn not to be selfish and if you can't put ur partner first then ur not ready, 2. Companionship- become best friends and learn how to live together and enjoy each others space. If you enjoy ur own space alone then time ur time and keep waiting while praying to God to perfect u.3.the law of acceptance; one has to accept all de advantages and disadvantage of the person they love. And pray to God to change what bothers u about ur partner.4.Individual responsibility: know ur responsibilities bad the man and ask urself if your ready to handle ,just like how Evan talked about money,are u financially stable as the head of the family? And as a woman are u ready to take care of ur home,ur man and kids ur gonna have if u will ur not yet ready for all this ,take ur time( proverbs 24:27 & proverbs 31:15). 5.Service...whilenin marriage u should have a purpose. ( Serve the Lord through marriage. (Galatians 5:13) explains it well. In otherwards there is alot dat God has to help us deal with before we head to marriage that's why his timing is de best. Sometimes I feel the more pressure placed on you guys the more you back away . You want to do it on your terms in your time when you feel God has properly prepared you both. It’s not a game. You have time to grow into your relationship so when that time comes it will happen with you not even realizing it. So we have to be patient and allow you both to listen to your heart for the right time. I love what you are doing before you make that commitment. That’s why a lot of marriages fail.
