People say why these dramas are very intellectual but the modern dramas are trash, the answer is these dramas were made in 80s when making dramas for PTV was seen as a "national service" or "serving the art", they were not made by businessmen and were not seen as a business. Today's dramas are trash because they are made by those who consider themselves as "industry" or "business" and when something becomes an industry or business then you only get trash not any kind of art because then it is all about money and not about doing any national service or serving the art.
