I was young when this song came out but I knew good music back then when I heard it and still love it to this day. That's what happens when your parents play great music in the house all the time with or without company. We grew up learning how to appreciate everything about it. I took my mom to see the beautiful Valerie in concert with the Whispers for mother's day....im happy to have spent that time with her because not too much longer after that she became ill and passed away...😞😞🙌🙌...and yes it was an awesome concert!!!! Her daughter was on of her back up singers .....and the Whispers gave out roses to the crowd😍😍😍

Brilliant re-edit of a classic tune. This is one of those numbers that nails the early 80's for me. Up there with "Is it Still Good To Ya" as one of their finest albums. And a masterclass in how to write a bittersweet love song.
