Iv loved Ashington all my life why I love Ashington I grew up in a snobby shithole called the gables at Widdrington one person got a new conservatory tge entire street had to have one and the kids were little carbon copies in Ashington I came out my shell, my confidence had no limits, the clubs were great when you could smoke in them they had this smell that hooked you in addicted to working to go out then I formed a successful band with my own debut album offered a record contract but our bass guitarist and drummer pulled out as they didn’t want fame they wanted to be nurses and they achieved their dream, I love Ashington because we’re down to earth common folk who don’t offend to be someone we’re not, has the best lasses in north east (getting married soon) has the friendliest folk and best hospital, it’s home and I can’t imagine living anywhere else mind I’d stay away from the Longstaff family they are born troublemakers who thrive on drama because no one likes them so they cause trouble to be noticed Ashington be great place without them, I tried living in Leicester but missed Ashington and it’s people way too much if you want friendliest down to earth town, then it’s Ashington fkn love it.
