Your videos give such clarity to so many concepts. I was 14 when I came to US. Now 45 years of age, my mind is still in Pakistan. Over the past 30 plus years, I went back only a handful times for brief periods. But somehow the pull of Pakistan persists. This video made me realize which is my national anthem. Thank you I also know the love and pain you feel for Pakistan. Millions across the world feel the same pain. May Allah help all of us, in and out of Pakistan to see a prosperous Pakistan.

Looking forward to this series. I came to Canada around 4 years back. Haven't been back to pakistan since. When I was departing from Jinnah international I had one thing in my mind that I am not turning back and my decision is firm no matter what happens there. My reason for leaving was "Law and order". Providing a safe place for my kids where they won't have to fear for their lives. I still love pakistan but this is my home now. Sooner you realize that you have to unplug the better it is. Better to fuse yourself in the society rather than going against the flow. You will end up tired and exhausted and when you look back you would have wasted all those precious days of your youth trying to create a mini pakistan around you.

As a believer, I feel, this was already written in our "Taqdeeer" where we will be born and the family we get; our parents, brothers, sisters and friends etc.. And where we will end up living. All of us are on a test-journey of life and in the hereafter, we will be questioned about our deeds. I love Pakistan and no one can take it from me. On the other hand, I learned True Islam in US after facing 911 terrible incident. As a Muslim, people taunted me by saying what kind of Muslim are you? you don't even know your own holy book. These kinds of statements made me realize that I need to learn Holy Quran in great detail. Today, if I ever get into any discussion, Alhamdulilah, I can quote them the verses for my reasoning. This is only by the grace of Allah and His blessings upon me. Pakistan is the only country in today's history, which was made on the slogan "La ila ha il-lala". Unfortunately for the past 60 years, it has been hijacked by the corrupt elite. But Allah will revive this beautiful land, Inshallah, to its true essence. And I believe we all owe it back, our lives, efforts, and whatever support we can provide. Because on the day of judgment, we will be questioned about it.

Asher sahb you are absolutely right, emigration is irreversible process. I have come across many new immigrants who vow that they will return back to Pak "the moment we receive Canadian passports." Very few execute this vow, only to return back to Canada within a short time. Then there are those long-time immigrants who yearn to return to Pak at some point in their life, perhaps in old age or when they retire. These types of immigrants fail to realize that there will come a stage in their life when they will feel like a stranger when they do return to Pak. Elders may have passed away. Friends may have dispersed. Neighbors may not be same anymore. Their identity will have become limited to a very few people. Furthermore, these types of immigrants fail to realize that at old age, their health may not permit them to be away from quality health care. They will want to be near their now-grown up children etc. The sooner we realize and accept these challenges the more we will integrate with the society here in Canada. To be happy, we need to be living in Canada physically and emotionally. We need to accept these realities.

But it feels worst too that why our country can't be like this that kisi ko ana he na parey. Our education system Legal system every department is ruined. I studied legal studies in australia in school and after knowing the process i feel that why this mechanism cant be in pakistan. Everything is mechanized here. Yahan yeh nhi hota kay koi court janay say darey aur pata hota hai itnay time mayn case resolve ho jayega and on merit. I stayed in uk for 4 years did my graduation from there came back to Pakistan and never went back. Even though half of my family lives in uk. Its not all loomy and gloomy out there. I'd rather die in Pakistan than living in a country where I'll be discriminated because of my color where im just another immigrant steeling their jobs facing racism everyday. This is my country yes we have problems but one day we'll solve them if I couldn't my kids will, but immigrating to another country is not an option.

You are right that it’s irreversible process. I came and now stuck because of children in school and health is another reason, not because you stay healthy here but because medication and treatment is free

By the way I personally like your movie I really enjoyed it and expected more. Thanks for what you doing. Well talking about as an immigrant I totally agree with you with no ? I wish we could have the same facilities back home. I guess you explained very well.

Yaar depend kerta hai I was a css officer myself from 42nd ctp and i resigned and left pak for canada BUT I DID MY UNDERGRADUATE from mcgill and i have a huge canadian network here too... my kids are not born in pak (sent them abroad for birth tourism) and i never wanted to stay in pakistan long term... i had a cultural shock when i went back to pakistan after completing my education and never felt that im at the right place But i understand its hard for everyone even for us it wasnt a bed of roses I agree with most of what youre saying but we all have different affiliation with pakistan.. for instance i drink i dont even eat halal food specifically, i never wore shalwar kameez and i never followed any cultural pakistani stuff in general.. on top of that i hate desi food t.b.h We all have a different journey ... it cannot be generalised
