Fr i dont think theres an anime that matches its overall lore, animation, fights, drama, characters, development, ost, art and ending it just haves everything and i firmly thinks is one of the series thats close to reach perfection or thats a perfect 10/10

This anime was so different from other animes it talked about the cold reality of this Cold world. Joe, A kid who never listened to others always had his way listened to dante, he was all happy fighting until rikishi died. The day rikishi died, Joe wasn't happy no more he even said at his tomb that "but guilt isn't an excuse to quit". Moreover when carlos got brain damaged I think Joe got more into depression because carlos was the only one after rikishi joe founded intresting. So he took their both flames and burned until nothing was left but pure white ash. Moreover handing the gloves to yoko he reminds her of what she've done in the early days of his prison he said the same to her.

Toda vez que eu saia para correr, no intuito de me colocar em forma para começar no boxe, eu ouvia essa música no caminho como motivação física e mental. Eu tinha um sonho de viver do boxe, eu realmente queria isso e treinei duro por isso, mas a realidade tem um jeito complicado de nos golpear. No fim não consegui aguentar o peso que a minha realidade carregava e seguir com esse sonho. Hoje eu escuto essa música e relembro esses dias com certo amargor, mas também sinto uma certa esperança acompanhada. Não sei ao certo, só sinto que não fui derrotado ainda e ainda existem coisas na vida pelas quais posso continuar lutando e fazer o meu amanhã melhor.

O importante é nunca desanimar, a vida sempre nos dá desafios e nos coloca para baixo de todas as formas, mas sempre temos que nos manter de pé e nos levantar contra essas as adversidades, tudo por um amanhã melhor.

Unrelated to Ashita no Joe. From what I've seen is that this guy just goes around and comments on other people's gameplay/videos shitting on them, so seeing how many dislikes his newest videos have it's safe to assume that they went and disliked all of them basically.

Esta melodía me recuerda donde o me alude a dos partes en este anime, la primera que es cuando Joe le dice a la chica con la que se caso el compañero de celda (ya no recuerdo sus nombres) que para él boxear era casi como su sentido de vida, y que se veía a sí mismo como una llama ardiendo en algo, y que finalmente en algún momento sólo quedarían cenizas. Posteriormente me recuerda a esa parte cuando Yoko Shiraishi entra a su camerino antes de que pelee contra José, y ella en su desesperación, casi histérica le dice que no, no lo haga, que ella lo ama y todo, cuando él en realidad sabía que probablemente sería su última pelea, dando todo de sí, dando lo mejor, sabiendo que se enfrentaba al mejor del mundo en su peso y si era necesario iba a quedar en la lona como su gran amigo Rikishi... Como dato curioso, muchos ya sabrán o quizá no, que José se basa en el mítico peleador Carlos "el cañas" Zárate, un ex boxeador mexicano que fue campeón mundial en peso gallo, y que a raíz de una derrota (antes ya había sido derrotado al tratar de ser también campeón mundial en peso súper gallo) cayo en depresión y en el mundo de las drogas, no sin antes tomar en cuenta que antes de esas dos derrotas, él había estado invicto durante más de 50 peleas profesionales, por lo que en ese sentido el anime es maravilloso al transmitir lo crudo que es el mundo del boxeo, donde prácticamente tus puños son tu única herramienta y sentido de vida...

@@jime_nez1k Si te fijas en el historial de peleas de Carlos Zarate fueron más o menos en ese año cuando se inicio la emisión del anime. Del 75 al 79 fue campeón mundial del peso gallo y retuvo su título en ese lapso (misma categoría que Joe), siendo además invicto en prácticamente todas sus peleas hasta que intento subir de categoría y se enfrento con un peleador muy complicado como Wilfredo Gómez, además de algunas anomalías en dicha pelea como que fue en el país natal de dicho boxeador y no en campo neutral como regularmente era, y que le habían puesto algo en una bebida (eso último es un rumor), lo cual entre eso y los problemas con las drogas, y muy parecida a la trama de que Joe dio un bajón de nivel, Zarate también dejo de boxear un tiempo y cuando quiso retomar su nivel apenas y le alcanzo para ganar unas peleas pero ya no para competir por el título mundial en la categoría gallo ni mucho menos súper gallo. En pocas palabras era el mejor peleador de la época en peso gallo como referencia para el anime y por si quedan dudas su esposa en la vida real era de origen estadounidense, ya que uno de sus hijos que también fue boxeador pero menos conocido tenía por segundo apellido "Scott" lo que te habla que al igual que en el anime sabían que estaba casado con una mujer de dicho origen y precisamente en la serie se muestra que su esposa era gringa.
