The most fascinating pattern I found with those having Ashlesha's influence is that they can have a piercing insight into a given situation and be incredibly close to fully extrapolating great truths but then for some strange reason completely mess it up at the end and reach the completely wrong conclusion. Examples would be like a detective finding all the right clues etc but then ultimately blaming the wrong guy. Or like the Unabomber guy, who was able to fully articulate the issues with society continuing to embrace technology, only to conclude that the best solution to bring attention to this was to try blow some people up. I've also noticed the presence of Ashlesha in a person's chart is extremely common for those working within the film or television industry. Granted, the industry is notorious for its ruthlessness so perhaps only these types can survive but maybe it's also their ability to shape-shift, become another.

That's really interesting about the Ashlesha natives in film. I have both Sun and Venus in Ashlesha and I work in the film industry. Yes this industry is filled with just really cut throat people and its a struggle to keep your morals in tact but Id rather work on small projects with good people than work for big productions with deceptive individuals. I think too the practice of watching film is inherently hypnotic as it draws you in and keeps you there physically for hours.

I’ve been thinking about your comment so much as an Ashlesha moon. It really struck me to the core. It helped me realise I have this strange problem where I’ve been highlighted at work as a fantastic strategic thinker…but I haven’t been able to grasp it because I also have vivid examples of me drawing the absolute wrong conclusion. I have no idea why I am so off right at the end despite reasoning that makes sense as clear as day. I have no idea what to do with this insight moving forward, lol. I have moon and retro mars in this nakshatra. It is difficult, at the same time as a cursed and blessed.It is true that only if I work honorably and positively affect other people's lives do I feel happiness and peace. Only then. But I often just think that I have a good motive so that in the end I realize how selfish I am. I had one love, I loved that man but I was mean to him, at the same time I solved his life problems that I couldn't solve myself, I just felt that I had to help him and I succeeded. Moon in Aslesha 22:01, Libra ascendant, and Sun in the 12th house like my beloved Gandhi.😊 Libra Ascendant conjunct Venus (Nakshatra exchange) with Mars in the 7th house, Moon (AK) in Cancer at 27.50° in 10th house opposite Jupiter in Capricorn in 4th house and Mercury (AM) in Virgo conjunct Sun, Pluto, Uranus in the 12th house (Nakshatra exchange with Moon). Mercury rules my 9th house with Saturn conjunct Ketu and Saturn rules my 4th house with Jupiter. When I was a child and teen, I had a hard time balancing my heart over head experiences. my Atmakaraka Venus is in Ashlesha right at the edge of the gandanta point in my 9th house. plus my janma-nakshatra is also of naga energy so your interpretation is 100% accurate. but let me add that it has been so terribly difficult for me, especially love and relationships have ruined my life so far, doomed to never be loved the way i want and never to find the love nor be reciprocated in the same manner. I would advise anyone with such a position never to utter a naga mantra like the Ahirbudhanya mantra. it will only bring immense pain and suffer immediately! my lagna also falls in a gandanta which is both a Ganda-moola and atmakarak-gandanta dosha. both these positions hightens the effects of gochara-pala and you immediately feel the effects of graha chalit.

I have AK Mars Retrograde in this Nakshatra and there was no planet that gave me this much pain in my life but also so much happiness but that's because of the Navamsha Placement. (D9 Mars in Capricorn) And this Nakshatra is 7th from my Venus Placement where that person had way more qualities of ashlesha than i do. Personally i would add Asc. Lord Nakshatra as well because that placement influences your character to a great deal as well.

Wow I have this Ak too,mars retrograde and with moon.So I heard from some Vedic astrologer that if a planet is both retrograde and in debilitated sign,then it will behave like if it is exalted.I can kind of grasp this,as I really see myself overdoing the whole mars thing.So in this case Mars would be behaving like if it was in Makara.
