All this segment showed was how petty Shep is and how jealous of Austin he is and how attracted he is to Madison. He even tried to make a move on Chelsea when Austin was dating her! He is entitled, vindictive, nasty and not a real friend as proven by his actions in attempting to hurt both Madison and Austin by bringing real trailer park trash to Patricia’s event!! His ego is stung by Madison’s rejection of him and the fact that she won’t allow him to BS her and will fight him back with his reality (of being old and alone)!
