As a native from CC who lives in wakeboat paradise Knoxville, TN I can tell you. Salt water, chop and wind and very high price tag on boats that will not last 10 years in salt. I love S. Texas but there is something to be said for glassy fresh cool water lakes like we have in East Tennessee. Home of the some of the best boats in the world like MasterCraft Malibu Supra to name a few.
