Their MVs are all about the relationship between them and their fans. They need attention from their fans, and they don't want to lose their dream and naivety as the time passes and they get older. Sometimes free imagination and creativity can be considered weirdity and social maladjustment.

12:53 I COMPLETELY AGREE!!! Hanni has such a unique yet addictive tone when she sings or even speaks for that matter. The way she uses vibrato and does runs is so tasteful. Her voice was the first to stand out to me when I first got into NewJeans

Yeah you pretty much got it on the 2nd watch... its how the idols see themselves perceived by the fans... the opposite of ditto Hanni - iphone most obvious one you were spot on Minji - is seen as the mother and leader by the fans but she needs support too (she isnt an actual doctor but thinks she is because she looks after the girls.. shes still a patient) Haerin - shes not a cat but the fans see her as one so thats what she will be for them hyein - i guess the story is she doesnt think shes the princess that the fans make her out to be.. Dani - is interesting because people seem to think shes actually an idol trying to snap the others out of it.. if thats the case and shes not mental.. then why is she there?... she also appears to be the most mentally unstable out of all them the way shes constantly hysterical and watching the white noise (the others in comparison are fairly calm throughout) she thinks shes an idol.. shes probably thinks shes watching newjeans when shes watching whitenoise

Basically all the members are delusional. Hanni thinks she's a iphone/siri Minji thinks she's a doctor and she isn't sick Hyein thinks she's a princess Haerin thinks she's a cat and Danielle is trying to convince them that they're Newjeans but she's also sick. I'm still not even completely sure what they're trying to say with the lore yet unless this is just showing an even more extreme side of the narrative of the obsessive fan? The iPhone bit at the beginning makes sense for that if you pay attention to the things Hanni is saying cuz y'know some stans treat idols more like objects than actual people. The "they keep asking me who is he" reminds me of how people around someone who's smiling at their phone assuming that it is a crush/bf/gf and they'll ask who is the person, but in this case it's an idol or idol group providing those smiles for this person. Giving more of that theory a bit more to think about, but I love the song and choreography! It's so good been on repeat since release. One thing Newjeans is gonna do is release a bop! 😂

the part with the bear and hyein, the last story in her book she sees as her life is the revenant. So I think she imagines herself getting killed by the bear and then in the meeting part she views herself as dead from the bear, who is really just a stuffed animal in the corner.

basically for the bear thing , prince was suppose to come save her but he was on the ground so the story was somewhat messed up so the bear “killed” her but it’s all in her head hence why she was looking at the teddy bear , she wasn’t really a ghost.

This really is so confusing 😅. My theory so far about the MV is like at the start when Hanni is doing the monologue and says that it doesn't matter who she is anymore the characters are not being their true selves (I mean I am pretty sure Hanni isn't an iPhone but that Siri voice was convincing). This could relate back to the whole idol thing in which idols exist for fans and do what fans want. Idk this was a really confusing MV.
