Mikha comes from a middle class family. Fun fact, kids from middle class are actually more proficient in English than tagalog because most middle clsss families speak English at home and the school they go to are also predominantly English speaking.

The section at the end where Mikha is emotional was during her Kumu livestream telling the viewers that only 65 fans showed up on BINI's 1st anniversary fan-meet. She (and the girls) are just grateful for the support and will still be thankful even if only 1 fan came. 😢

for better context, conyo in filipino context is mixing filipino and english when speaking. in mikha's case, she grew up in a household that mostly spoke in english as well as attended private schools. private schools in the philippines are notorious for producing conyo speakers so she struggled for a while but put in the effort to speak filipino for the girls and has become a lot more proficient. and mikha actually said she wants a pet snake just recently on X 😂

Mikha bias here. Since Day 1! idk if it will change after years.. haha Jennie is my BP bias too since day 1 and it doesn't change until now. Also Ahyeon biased from BM since day 1. But for Twice, Tzuyu was my first bias for a year maybe, now it's Sana. For Itzy, it was Ryujin at first, now it's Yeji. For RV, Irene first, now it's Seulgi. G-idle, Miyeon first, now it's Yuqi. I stopped being focused on Kpop since I discovered BINI. so my GG fangirling stopped after Baemon. I don't know much about other groups now. These are the only GGs I have the chance to pay attention to. I have like 80% focus on BINI and 30% on Babymonster right now. I can't focus on other GGs. I'm weak and don't have that much time keeping up with everyone.

My recommendation of a future Bini content should be their reality show "Bini Roadtrip Adventures", it has a lot of episodes because it a series. You could know them better there and even explore different parts of the Philippines 😊

In the modern Filipino context, the word “conyo” is often a derogatory term referring to rich Filipino kids who primarily speak English in daily social interactions and sometimes speak Tagalog words sounding like foreigners (mainly sounding like Americans trying to speak Tagalog). 10:51 the word was in fact derived from the Spanish curse word 😅 Filipinos basically bastardized the Spanish language and now the word “conyo” is used to mock people who almost always speak English in casual conversations or mix English with Tagalog to sound posh. wait til you hear about “pan de regla”, “leche”, and “lamyerda” 🤪

Actually "conyo" word is used a lot like more of Taglish or refers to someone in a predominantly English speaking family.

Conyo and Taglish are different. Taglish is a combination of Tagalog and English as they do in their songs while Conyo is those who have difficulty in speaking Tagalog because English is the language they use at home. Usually among conyos are the so-called rich kids.
