Man I love this couple and I can truly relate. As I'm waiting for God's best, I'm currently wearing my purity ring or rather abstinence ring, on my ring finger to signify that I'm off limits until God makes a presentation to my husband. It also defines my relationship with God as a daily commitment that I am to submit to him. As for those who are patiently waiting and wondering where is my Boaz or Ruth, God knows the desires of our hearts and will bless us in due time. ❤

I always wonder when my godly, right man is going to come. I know that people say that the right man comes along in God's timing but when you are 21 almost 22 and you start seeing your middle school, high school and college friends starting to have babies, being in relationships and settling down... it makes me wonder at times when is that right time for me. I am in college, I am getting my master's degree so I know that school is the n1 priority but I have this longing for building a family and building the strongest relationship I can with the man I am supposed to be with. I've met my fair share of unfit men and I want something else because I feel ready. But maybe I am not, I'll know in due time. 😞😕

Jacquie Nnyoung Hey my dear I wanted to reach out and hug you after reading your comment. Although, your friends and thise close to you are "settling down" "having babies" does not mean true happiness. Think about it like this. People often tell you or show you what they want you to believe, but behind closed doors its the complete opposite. Do not rush and be in a hury for what God is trying to shape and mold you to be able to handle it. So many ppl are getting married just to change their status from single to married, but they are miserable and lonely. There is a thing called God's perfect will and his permissive will. You should want to desire to be in his perfect will at all times. Often times when we believe we are ready we are actually not!!! When we think we are ready we tend to believe God is the one taking forever to send our mates. However, he has to prepare that man to find you. So instead pray and ask God to shape you into the wife and woman of God he has called you to be and to do the same for your future husband. Cover your marriage and husband in prayer long before he arrives. Be found by your God ordained husband servinf in God's Kingdom doing what it is God has called you to do. Rest knowing Jeremiah 29:11 Eph 3:20 Phil 4:6-7. It is well with you my beloved sister in Christ. Big hugs

Almost 22. Try almost 41 and never having a real boyfriend. Then you can talk. I seen it all just about. People have babies and the boyfriend break up with them while they are still pregnant. People get married because the woman is pregnant. They get a divorce in 4 years. People get pregnant and the guy they were with or slept with is not their boyfriend. They did not have a relationship. One of my coworkers, who is 24 just had a baby several months ago and the guy she had a baby by was "just a friend." He has other children. When I asked her about this, she said that people do not get married anymore and sometimes people her age do not even have a boyfriend- they just sleep together. With all this going on, I think that God has called me to be single for the rest of my life.

I agree with you Anointed Beauty. People give me a weird look when I say that I prefer to wait until marriage before being intimate. I had one guy tell me recently that waiting is stupid and wack. I will be 41 soon and when I tell guys my views they run. This has been happening for the last 10 years. I think I am called to be single. I never had a boyfriend.

Hey!! im 24 years old and im not in college working pay check to pay check and yes i use to get jealous of my friends cuz they are married and have children. But trust me those friends u have arent so happy as they make it seem especially if they "havent allowed God to write there love story." Which means they are going thru choas. and the ones that allowed God to write there love stories are going thru there own problems also. so im saying this to let u know i understand what u going thru. so enjoy your singleness and continue working on your relationship with God. #EnjoyYourSingleness #PutGodFirst

I don't agree and I think if a woman thinks all men cheat they aren't ready for a relationship and should explore where those feelings come from until they have a change of heart. I think we attract what we expect so if you expect all men cheat the men you meet will meet that expectation

ab Kemet I really don’t believe you have to date a whole bunch of people to find Gods best for you. If you’re pursuing him and he desires for you to married to bring him glory he will lead the two of you to each other. That’s not hard for God! The Holy spirit leads us through our obedience to what he wants us to have or he’ll bring it to us I.e. story of Rebekah in scripture. I don’t see how spending energy dating a bunch of people to find Gods best is necessary...?
