I do my laundry by person we are a family of 5, so we have a day for everyone and on the weekends I do the other house stuff like towel and bedding. Everyone knows their day for me to do there laundry and they have to bring their stuff to the laundry room for me to do and I will put it away and everything it has worked wonders for us I have been staying up with the laundry no big cloths pills anymore lol

I have a family of 4.. I wash me my husband's and my daughters laundry together.. then my son's gets washed separately in fragrance free soap.. he has super sensitive skin he breaks out in rashes sometimes with scented soap.. but I separate laundry by darks.. whites.. towels and bed sheets and my son's.. I do laundry about 2 to 3x a week depending how much is there to wash.. bedsheets get changed 1x a week every Sunday we strip the bed and change sheets

Yes do your laundry by person. So much easier. I never separate my kids clothes by color and everything always comes out good.

Dividing the laundry by room is a good idea. When I was 13 or 14 years old. I started washing my own clothes. Maybe having your oldest to start doing hers will help. It is 5 degrees here in Oklahoma.

You're so lucky in the to have such huge machines over there. Here in Australia our machines are really small unless we use a public laundry to wash big items. We have to do many loads over the week to keep up. Machines sizes are slowly increasing here but still not as huge as American ones.

Oh no!! That would really suck. I would REALLY be behind 😆 That’s so crazy that the size would be different. I guess I assumed they were the same everywhere. Hopefully they make them bigger sooner than later!! ♥️

Hi Ashley..we have been sick with colds. Very cold here in Athens, Georgia. I do laundry every day and it's just my husband and me. My 3 sons are grown and have family. Boy you had a bunch of laundry, I love to do laundry. Nice haul, I really need to watch my diet, I've never had a weight problem until Covid came. I 'm weighing in at 140. My goal is 128 to 130. Truly enjoyed this video. Have a Merry Christmas Ashley 🤶 🎄

I also plan to lose some weight in the new year. (doing keto a year ago did more harm than good) I got a nutritionist and meal plans, but was derailed by life and a health issue with my mom. Now I plan to restart the plan. I'm super excited!!!! I also plan to finally start pursuing a career change.

2023 goals less spending(on non necessary items), read God word more and follow it! It just me but I already tackled my tiny studio and got rid of any unnecessary furnitures and things I do not use or will use and I’m sooo happy with that weight off! Laundry, I do not overload the laundry, I leave space inside about half a foot to a foot for one load so machine don’t overwork it self, I have fridgeraire brand laundry in my unit

I fold my clothes on my bed too because it’s so easy!! It is 28 degrees here in south east Louisiana. Went Christmas shopping in Houma and kept getting winter notifications for Houma so I am sure your family is experiencing the same. It’s sooo unusual for us!! Merry Christmas to you and your family, Ashley!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I’m over here desperately needing to do laundry, but also scared to use electricity because I don’t want the power to go out. 😅 It’s 20° here in central TX now, but with the wind it feels like 5°. When I woke up it was 12°. Thank God we don’t have any precipitation & the sun is out.

I really want to get my house in order. And be more accountable for what I’m bringing into our home. More minimal too☺️ I hope you (and family)are feeling better today 🥰. I big on separating the clothes 😅, by room and colors. I’m so excited you’re getting a new vacuum, I really can’t wait to hear how you like it. 🤍

I am a little behind in watching your cleaning videos. I'm playing catch-up. But I definitely needed this laundry motivation today. I am so far behind on laundry it's insane. I am also decluttering clothes as I catch up on my mound of dirty laundry. Less clothes, less laundry. 🤷♀️ I have also recently made it a goal to fold and put away as soon as it's done. It has helped a lot with my stress. I honestly have no laundry "routine" as far as sorting goes. I keep clothes, towels, bedding and cleaning rags separately. But I haven't found the right system as far as sorting by person or room. It all just gets kind of mixed up. 😩 anyway....thank you for all the motivation you provide on both of your channels. I caught up on your other one yesterday. 😘 I am off to the next video. 🤞 fingers crossed you got your vacuum!! 🤞❣️

I notice a lot of ppl don't use bleach on their towels. I was always told to wash towels in cold water with soap and bleach because towels will build up an odor from being damp every day.

Ashley, how is it that laundry 🧺 never seems to end? What can we do but just go with it in what works in our home. I actually love doing laundry so I don't mind. It's 8 degrees right now in NY and it's not expected to be any warmer than that. I miss my warm weather 😢. My goal for next year is to concentrate on saving $ and continue to live a healthier lifestyle. My happy weight is 130 and I currently have about 10-15 lbs to lose.💪🏽 May not seem like much but to me it's extra lbs that I'd love to rid for good. I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a healthy happy 2023! 🎄☃️❄️🎅🏽🥂🎉

I spy a floss pic sticking up in the dryer...lol. Who is the floss pic user? I don't know what it is with my towels. There are only two of us in my house. We hang our towels and wash clothes to dry before they go in the hamper. I use lysol laundry sanitizer and scent beads and they still aren't fresh smelling. I have also tried vinegar.

Instead of sorting by darks and lights, why don't you just wash in cold water? That prevents bleeding & you won't have to worry about your lights looking dingy. That would help lessen the loads you have to do.
I love doing laundry lol, my kids think I'm nuts..
