HI my fellow hairstylist and friends!
I am super excited to start this new Series on my channel. Going blonde!
This particular client has about 85% of her natural color and ends are previously lightened. This is our first session trying to get her back to being blonde. We are doing a balayage to still keep dimension but take her light :)
Next session on her will be in April! :)
I am hoping that with this series I can go more into depth with you guys about color and lightening.
Also I am enjoying your feedback! thank you guys for letting me know what you want to see and your criticism :)
Don't forget to LIKE, COMMENT and SUBSCRIBE it will help me out so much!

I think it’s useful to see how light the client lift to better understand why you used the toner that you used. A lot of people just see the videos and think ok I’ll just use what she used but they haven’t lifted to a level that they need to be able to use that toner.

Love your videos! Soft voice over, no loud dub step type music. Like i watch hair tutorials to relax while learning, I don't need to be hearing music as if I'm at the club 😂

Stunning! So glad that you spoke about client expectations versus what can be safely done. At my school we had a client get soooo angry because she wanted to go from a level 3-4 to all blonde in only a few hours. The instructor tried to tell her the same thing you were saying. And this lady’s hair came below her hips! The client stormed out of the school salon so angry. Thank you for educating your clients! Her patience will be soooo rewarded! Your work is amazing!

I love you and i don’t get the criticism! I think you’re one of the few that does such a good job showing your work step by step ! I just got my license and i’ve learned so much because of your videos ! Thank you !!!!!! Can you please do a video of what you do during processing time and how you get an even lift ?Especially on thick hair 😩

I think the complaint from you not showing the whole process is really just how you go about bleaching the head and what patterns and techniques you use. Usually in your videos you skip the front part and that’s the part everyone sees first so everyone’s just curious. But this video was spot on and the editing was great. Amazing work as always you definitely teach me a lot when I watch. Have a great rest of the week Ashley! ❤️

You use matrix permanent color to colormelt? Do you dry her hair out completely before applying the root color? Using the permanent color, does that make it harder to break through that color next on the next service? Haha I know a lot of questions💕 Love your content

How did you get her so blonde in one session without burning her hair off? I went to a colorist that said she couldn't even get me close to this in one session because my hair would burn off.

Stupid question... when you say you used the three tones 9n, 9v, 8gi are you mixing these together and applying it to all of the hair or are you applying each individual tones to alternating sections?
@haileyhruska9975
@haileyhruska9975 3 жыл бұрын
Do you have to paint up to the tease? I will tease my clients then go in and balayage and it’s like I didn’t even tease the section and I’m not satisfied with how it looks. Also The top of my balayage section is orangey compared to the mid/ends. I’m assuming that from the lack of product towards the top??

Is toner like a diluted version of permanent hair color or is it different? I’m always afraid of adding the wrong toner and not being able to get rid of it.
